Summary
A simple arrangement. A complicated future.
Lia Dove has always been a free spirit, living life to the fullest, and never putting down roots. But, after finding her birth father - along with a group of lovable, rowdy bikers - she can’t imagine being anywhere else. Throw in a hot biker roommate, who offers her a no-strings-attached deal as the cherry on top, and leaving becomes an afterthought.
Leo Hawk has never felt part of anything, until he becomes a prospect at a local motorcycle club. But catching feelings for his roommate, who’s also the club president’s daughter, could spell disaster before he earns his patch.
And when the past comes back to haunt him, thanks to his missing older brother, Leo will have to lean on his biker brothers for help - risking a future with the club, and the woman he’s grown to love.
Broken Dove is an interconnected, standalone, friends-to-lovers, motorcycle club romance - but it can be read and enjoyed alone.

Lia & Leo <3
I couldn't put this down and was even sneaking listening time in while at work. I love how Chelle Bliss writes more than just romance, they're full of action, big family love and characters that you can so easily relate to. The way Leo is accepted & loved by not just Lia, but by Morris and the guys at the MC, hits close to home. And we can't forget Mikey!!! Chelle even makes you fall in love with the pets.
I'm already selfishly counting down the days until the next book.
Special shout out to the narrators, Samantha Brentmoor & Connor Crais....you two bring life into these characters making the whole listening experience that much more enjoyable

I love this series
These characters get better and better. I love the protectiveness of these big Alphas. They know how to look after their women. With a fantastic storyline and a brilliant performance from both Samantha and Connor I loved every minute.

Drama, relationships, action and heat.
Let me start by saying, I love Lia, such a free spirit and so kind. We need more Lia’s in this world. Girl gangs are my thing and Lia has the cutest one ever. 3 tiddly little dogs that love to lick and kiss away her troubles. She’s rooming with Leo who’s prospecting for an MC and this book is about family, blood and chosen.
We get all the ingredients of a great Chelle book. Relationships, drama, action and heat.
The second half of the book really took off and you just need to know what’s coming next. I couldn’t help but fall for the gorgeous animals in this book. The chemistry between Lia and Leo is there from the start. They have a roommates-with-bennies thing going on but they went and caught feelings for each other, and the drama only intensifies these. I raced to the finish and was so happy that things worked out for them.
Samantha is one of my top female narrators. Her ability to voice the male characters and give us a range of voices for the side characters is second to none. I loved her performance as the boho babe, Lia. Connor and his smooth deep tone, shows us all the different sides of Leo, from the frustrated to the protective. A great audiobook, well worth the listen.

Fantastic listen!
After listening to Broken Sparrow, I was excited to hear that Lia and Leo would get their own story. I was curious to see how Chelle Bliss would decide what to do with these two. Lia is new to town, with her free spirit, her band of dogs and VW bus. But she is staying now, as she gets to know her dad, Tiny, the pres of the MC. Living with Leo is a plus, giving her the place to stay and a friend with benefits. Leo is a prospect, trying to better himself from his horrible childhood, and continues his mechanic shop. He too loves his relationship with Lia, but he wants more. Her being the prez's daughter though makes it a little sticky! When she gets caught up in Leo's past though, things get dangerous. Will the MC help Leo out or will he be put out on his own? Will Lia be okay after her ordeal? Will they finally give into their true feelings? Bliss takes us on an emotional journey as these two sort out their feelings. I love Lia! She is spunky, not afraid to dig in and deal with a problem. Leo is sweet, has his path and is kept on it with the help of his "family". And the dogs, especially Mikey just win my heart every time! This is a great addition to this series, and a fun listen!
Connor Crais and Samantha Brentmoor are our storytellers and what a story they portray! Crais plays Leo with a confident, yet vulnerable Leo. He lets us into his heart, feeling his betrayal and pain, as well as his love. Brentmoor builds Lia with a tenacity and spunk that is so easy to love. This team is exceptional at their craft, compliment each other and made the listen fantastic!

Book 2. Lia & Leo. Friends to lovers
I am loving these characters. Leo is trying to become a member of Lia’s Dads MC. I stayed interested in this story the entire time. A little suspense with their dilemma. Broken sparrow was book 1. You don’t have to listen in order but is more fun if you do. Chelle Bliss is an amazing author and I have loved everything I have listened to by her. She always chooses the best narrators for her books as well. The narration was great. I definitely recommend any of Chelle’s books.

Friends with benefits turns to love ❤️
Another great read from Chelle Bliss. When this spin off started I was looking forward to Leo & Lia’s story and it didn’t disappoint, it totally has all the feels. Lia at a few points came off a little naive but if you push through those points Leo’s sweetness will get you over the line.
Connor Crais and Samantha Brentmoor do an amazing job with the narration, you won’t be disappointed.

Another Captivating & Blissfully Amazing 🎧📚🎧
Chelle Bliss continues to wow me with another amazing novel set in her “Open Road” series, a series of interconnected standalone novels. I loved the first book, “Broken Sparrow” and was happy to learn that Lia Dove and Leo Hawk were going to get their own story. It was easy to fall and care about these two, Lia, an animal lover who just goes with the flow, you can not help but fall in love with her personality. Leo found himself in a bad situation thanks to his brother, in the first book he crossed baths with a bad ass biker while trying to salvage something from his family’s auto shop. Luckily for him, that biker had a good heart and gave him a job, he luck continued when Lia came in town looking for her father, Tiny, the MC president. Leo and Lia became roommates which morphed into more, friend with benefits, something they keep to themselves since Leo is now a prospect for the MC and her father would not like that he is banging his daughter. All is going well, but when an old friend comes back in to Leo’s life with news about his brother, it is not good and when Lia tries to help all goes to hell. There is never a dull moment in this book, the story is cleverly plotted with plenty of drama, a touch of angst, some twists and turns, thrilling suspense moments, heartfelt emotions and a wonderful friends to lovers romance. Chelle Bliss, thank you for another amazing story and an exciting the thrilling emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Jason Clarke and Samantha Brentmoor continue to deliver an outstanding performance, bringing these characters and their story to life. They had a complete understanding of the characters they portrayed, giving each a voice is the perfect fit for that character’s persona to a tee, sounding believable in every role they played and just as I pictured the characters to sound. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance. These two are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fantastic listen.
