Summary
Welcome to Twilight Cove, the gateway to a world of witches, goblins, and sassy black cats.
A strange message and ominous warning send Gypsy back to her hometown of Twilight, seeking answers from her doting parents. When she arrives nothing is as it should be. Her parents have disappeared into thin air, and she is the prime suspect.
But then things get really weird. Gypsy’s idea of reality takes a fall down a rabbit hole when she discovers that not only do witches exist, but she is one. If that isn’t bad enough, her hometown is transformed into a place she doesn’t recognize, literally. Through it all, Gypsy must rely on her mystery solving skills to uncover a killer before she becomes his next victim.
Warning: Contains elements of high fantasy/urban fantasy, dark crime, and sarcasm.

Excellent
An excellent read. I loved the link to fairy tales and that the brothers Grimm were investigating the case of the missing girls. I really want to read the next books in the series to find out what happens next with the prince, Pepper, and Gypsy's missing brother.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
If you love fairytales as I do, you found the right book! I have always loved fairy tales. if you ever wondered what it would be like to step into a fairy tale this book helps you do just that! through the combination of the writing and the narration I was totally drawn into this book! the characters were extremely well written and you can't help but fall in love with them, in fact the whole world comes to life just the way a fairytale should! I would highly recommend this book to everyone, young and old!

Down the rabbit hole
I enjoyed this book. This is the first book by this author that I have listened too but it won't be the last, mainly because I will be getting book two, as I want to find out what happens next. It was a nice, fun and unique take on the usual fairy tale. I liked the characters and the shout out to the brother's Grimm (the original folk and fairy tale authors). The mystery was not your standard questioning suspects type of story but instead unfolds with dreams and crystal balls. Most of the story gets solved but there is also an on going story that continues on in the next book, so prepare to want to get the next book.
Gypsy receives a strange message one night while reading someone's fortune. This leads her to return home, only find her parents missing. Her twin brother went missing when she was very young and never returned. Fearing the worst, that it has happened again, she sets out to find them herself. She returns to the same woods that her brother went missing from and once again she finds the strange cabin. Opening the door turns Gypsy's world upside down. She finds her self in a strange new world that looks like her world but contains witches, dwarfs and royalty. Can she believe her own eyes. The first thing she comes across is the body parts of a dead woman. She joins the Brother's Grimm to investigate the disappearance of a number of women, one of which they have been hired to find. Can Gypsy find her parents, the missing girls, what happened to the dead woman and even find a clue about her brother?
I liked the narrator and thought she did a good job bringing the characters to life and giving them all there very own unique voice.

It was okay.
It took a little too long for the story to capture my interest, and I just didn't find myself invested enough in the characters to immerse myself in this book.
I thought the narration could have been better.
Do try it though. If we all loved the same books there'd only be one author! You may surprise yourself and find this to be a little gem.
