You are perfect just the way you are
Being a teen is tough. You are making the transition from childhood to adulthood. One thing stood out for me in the PDF worksheet that comes with the audiobook. It is human nature to need to compare yourself to others around you. As a result, you want to be a perfectionist and fit in with your peers or even compete with your peers. One question in the worksheet is focused on your perfectionist tendencies and ways you can be happy with something less than perfect. It is so important to realize that your best is good enough and also that there is no such thing as perfect. The audiobook can help you build confidence from the inside out if you follow the advice contained within it.

Empowering Teens for Life!
As a father twins turning 13 this month what better time to listen to this gem of an audiobook. That phrase "it's better to be reminded that instructed" kept popping into my head throughout the listen, which was totally great because the reminders are note-worthy to retain, and recite at a later time when needed with my future teens! I know my (almost) teenagers are navigating the challenges of self-esteem, self-doubt, and insecurity which the author nailed not only in the title but in the themes throughout. I know (hope?) my 2 emerge as resilient individuals. With continual learning tools like this at our disposal we will guide and gently nudge them on their different paths. Thanks for putting this personal growth book together Lucas Reid, The future is bright!

Solid advice for teens
Grabbed this audiobook for my nephew and I'm glad I did. It's straightforward, avoids all the usual fluff, and speaks directly to what teens are dealing with. He's already using some of the tips and seems more confident. Definitely a good find for helping youngsters tackle self-doubt.

Game-Changing Book for Teens and Adults Who Care!
If you are a teen…how would you like to learn 7 legit strategies that could help you become more confident and accomplish your secret desires? All you need to do is listen to this audiobook and try just a couple of the suggestions, if you dare. Watch out, because this could jumpstart your adventures onto paths you’ve always dreamed of but never thought possible! You might find yourself wondering what on earth happened, but in a really exciting and positive way. The author shares the experiences and insecurities from his own teen years, and all the lessons he later learned about confidence and self-esteem. This makes him a great person to come alongside you in your struggle because he gets it and knows how to help you get past it.
The chapter on changing your inner monologue was especially powerful. It resonates with me because this is something I still work hard on in adulthood. If only this book had been around when I was a teen! I sure could have used the insight and practical tips back then and hope that many teens will listen to this book and start changing their inner monologues now. As the author points out, it is easy to fall into negative thinking patterns, filter out the positive parts of our stories, and even assume we know what others are thinking…often without realizing we are doing it.
This book includes a free PDF, with printable worksheets that have activities that go along with each chapter, to help teens immediately apply the strategy in practical ways. This is a great way to not only learn information but internalize it.
If you’re not a teen, maybe there is a teen in your life that you care about - a son, daughter, niece, nephew, student, child of a friend. Perhaps you are a coach, teacher, youth group leader or some other person of influence in teens’ lives. I would highly recommend that you listen to this book, and then get it for them as a gift! Even though we were all teenagers at some point, the world has changed drastically in a very short time, increasing the pressures on teens in ways that are hard to keep up with. This book will help you understand what modern teens face, especially with the exponential growth of technology and social media, and mental health challenges. More than that, though, this book will help you learn strategies you can encourage teens to apply to actually overcome those challenges, by becoming resilient, building confidence, and using the seven strategies in this book. You may even find yourself in need of a few of these helpful strategies! So whether you are a teen or know a teen, get this book today!
