About this listen

What do ice cream and Sadie Montgomery have in common? They're both ice cold, but one taste is never enough.

I wanted to be friends - I would have even settled for her seeing me as anything but a nerd - but there was no getting through. So just like any hard-headed, red-blooded man out there, I made up my mind.

I'd make my coworker fall for me.

I'd like to say it was simple, but like every other epic love story, all it took was one drunken night and a lot of naked courage to get the girl. For a moment, at least.

Love with a coworker is never simple, especially since Sadie's trying to keep us on the low. Not to mention her persistent ex-boyfriend who won't leave her alone. But I've never been good at giving up, and I don't plan to start now.

The whole thing is a recipe for a rocky road, but I plan to eat the whole gallon, no matter how bad the brain freeze.

Contains mature themes.

I hated the male narrator, very low en grunty.. could only listen to him at 1,4speed.
Liked the story overall but I do not think this writer ever met a nerdy good guy? I understand that you would also want to make him proactive but just talking about his box of calculated does not a nerd make..

Weird character description of the “nerd” next door

This story was different in the setting but didn’t do itself justice because a there was much focus on sex and parties and little development of the story especially with regards to main characters’ back stories and emotional journeys
Male narrator was terrible. Sounded like an AI version of a man.

Great setting for a romance

3.5 stars

Co-Wrecker was my first Meghan Quinn book and I was hoping it was amazingly funny.
I wish I had liked Andrew’s character. In real life don’t think we would have gotten along and he would be annoying as heck to me. Sadie on the other hand would be my kind of person.
Story wise, thus book had legs to be great but Andrew’s personality really rubbed me the wrong way.

The narrators also weren’t a great choice for the characters personalities. As much as I like Thor Tom and his smexy way of saying the F word his voice isn’t quite suited for how funny Andrew tried to come across. On the other hand Mia Madison was too chirpy.
Hoping the next book is better as I feel Meghan is so my kind of author..

It made me laugh. I wanted to keep listening. Not soppy or cheesy. Good characters and some seriously steamy bits

Funny, steamy and easy to listen to

Loved a not so cute meet but this was not a great read ! I had to stop listening. The guy narrating is good but not right for the character.

Couldn’t finish it

The dialogue and the story is so bad, the characters are weird and have zero chemistry. There is zero build up, their relationship isn’t developed. Just bad. The male narrator isn’t the best either, he sounds middle aged not like a 20 year old college student

This book is genuinely awful. The banter is so bad it’s not even funny just cringe

Not sure what to say. I found that I was skimming huge chunks of the story as I couldn't gel with it or both of the narrators. I found it was quite board while listening. Can't recommend this even though it's included in the Plus section.
