Nice book
It's very easy to use for an individual or in a session with clients. I like that there are "homework" type questions at the end of each chapter and worksheets you can photocopy to hand out or just use yourself

Practical and Useful!
As someone that has secretly struggled with anxiety for years, this book has provided a number of useful and pragmatic ways not to just fight my anxiety but to understand it on a deeper level. My favorite quote from this book is, "Our lives are fables in a boundless cosmic story" sums up this book in the sense that does not want us to feel small and our problems to seem big-just the opposite. I think that anyone looking for ways to better connect with their communities or for those that just feel a deep longing for something new and undiscovered will get something from this book. author take on the different levels of religion, spirituality, and astrology is refreshingly new and simple - and relative to people with many disorders and/or fears. While I do not think this book is a cure, it's nice to be reminded that we are all connected in many different ways and it's a great entryway for us to open up our minds that the human brain is much more powerful than we realize when it comes to things we fear we cannot change.

Stop looking-BUT THIS!!
Amazing, useful, helpful.....I cannot explain enough how this book helped. My advice is get a notebook to answer the questions, take notes, and explain down thoughts. That helped me realize new perspectives to what's going on and what I can do. I suffer from medical anxiety horribly. Just a week before I got the book, I had my worst attack to date. Since I have finished the book, I haven't had an attack yet.i'm not 'cured', but I'm not suffering anymore either! I use the tools that were given to help me regulate. I want to hug the author and thank him!!

Excellent intro to CBT
I've been looking for a simple, easy to navigate explanation of CBT. As a disabled woman, it's easy to feel depressed and anxious. Negative thoughts about my self and societal worth are frequently present, and it's very easy to fall into the trap of believing my limitations are catastrophic and unchangeable.
