Communication is a very important aspect of life. We use it for a large portion of our daily activities and without it nobody gets very far in life. It's like the moment you visit a foreign country. When you don't know the language and everything seems alien and unknown, you begin to appreciate your native language. Communication requires our daily practice & development as it falls into our careers, our relationships, our financial lives, and our very happiness.
Communication is also important when it comes to working in companies, excelling in school, and when it comes to speaking - whether socially, or during meetings, or public speaking engagements, and the like. When you have enough confidence in yourself, it will be easier for you to relate to people from all walks of life.
Don’t let your social awkwardness stand in your way. This audiobook can help you internalize positive self-talk and release your inhibitions. Soon, you’ll be comfortable speaking out around others, communicating effectively, and building a strong and loyal group of friends!

It's just amazing to know all this!
We always need to learn something. And it is better when you know how to learn properly and efficiently. That's why now I have this book. It is awesome. I really enjoyed to learn the most effective methods, the pitfalls we must avoid, and the habits we must cultivate. Very complete and informative guide. This book covers a wide range of current practical learning techniques and theories. Some of what’s covered I’ve run across from other resources.

Great read on how to interact with people.
I've never seen a sales book quite like this and really enjoyed the new approach on an issue that many of us have had while prospecting and closing deals/appointments. A must listen if you want to improve your prospecting game or just want to try out some new approaches. Listen the whole book the day I got it! Difficult people are difficult to deal with and I found this book to be very helpful. Well written and good suggestions! I think well worth the listen!

Valuable advice and tips for everyone!!
This well-written, useful book will give you solid advice about how to speak and listen better in our noisy world. Treasure is an expert in sound and the human voice. This is a wonderful book! This book is full of valuable information on how to really listen to others and how to have others really hear what you are trying to say. Although the information will probably not be new to readers, it is presented in an easy-to-understand way and it helps one see how to implement the ideas in their own everyday life.

Essential basics!!!
The way we communicate would be the difference between success or failure as a leader. Misunderstandings, gossips and ignoring issues may cause a lot of difficulties for you as a leader and this book shows us how to deal with them.

Effective is better than efficient !!!!!!!!!
This book is excellent and I fully recommend it to any manager who's interested in improving themselves and their people. It covers fundamental concepts that every manager needs to be good at--building relationships with staff, providing feedback, coaching, and delegation. Are you a 'results first' manager? Maybe a 'results first' person who's headed for a management role? Then this book + the ten years of effective, actionable, podcasts that go along with "the Effective Manager" are for you. This is one of the few books I have read that talk about management behaviours and how critical the *right* ones are to business success

Great book for communication!!!!!
I listen a lot and am always striving to learn new things. I wasn't expecting much, mostly a rehash of dated material. But what I found was current, fresh and highly relevant I learn a lot frm the techniques given in this book. They are easy to follow and can be applied almost immediately. The summary behind each chapter provides a quick reference guide to the detail involved. I love this so much I recommended this book everyone.

A good practical overview of learning
Having just finished reading this book, my first by this author, I feel delighted at finding so many things that are important and new to me (such as shorter study sessions, more active learning, interleaving subjects). No way-out philosophy here ... but things that made sense and backed up with clear explanations and references. I like how the author explains what works and what doesn't, and things like the scientific method, which we may have heard the term before, but never totally understand all the details about it. Especially to learning. We could easily associate it with science.

What's it like to be on the other side of you?
Absolutely phenomenal book! I love the concept and it fundamentally transformed the way I look at team communication! I give a copy to every member of my team and hand them out when someone is looking for professional development. As a self-described personality profile junkie, I thoroughly enjoyed this approach to describing our tendencies, how they interact with each other and how important it is to be aware of what you are saying and how you are saying it. There are so many different books that try to do what is actually done in this book. The language is so simple and easy to understand. Listen this book, to me, was like taking the red pill.
