About this listen

I am complex. My love is all-encompassing. And when it comes to my heart, there is only one rule: Don’t mess with what’s mine.

Until the age of seven, I was Joel Alexander Donovan, son of Jimmy. The man who terrorized a town and made its citizens fear the very ground he walked on. Including me, the day I realized that ground ran red with blood.

At age 18, I became Priest. A man without a past. A man determined to right the wrongs of my father. A man who never believed anyone could love the son of such a monster.

But then a thief stole my heart. A sweetheart lit up my world. And I forgot for a moment you should never turn your back on your enemy.

And thus begins a lesson to those who would seek to harm: Never underestimate what the Priest will do to protect the Princess and the Prick.

they just get better and better

Ufff, what a ride this book has been. Being book 3 in the Confession series, you need to read the first 2 in order to read this one. This book follows the story of Priest, Robbie, and Julien, and this one was Priest's story.

It's still the couples story, but while in book one, we got Robbie as a main character and Julien in the 2nd this one had Priest as the MMC, sort to speak.

We get to know Priest's story, the story before he met Julien and Robbie, the story before he became Priest. His story is sad, heartbreaking even, but I am so glad he found his two men to love him. He deserves it.

This book starts exactly where Julien ended, so we got to experience from Priest POV the consequences of his actions. The idea of losing Robbie was something he couldn't imagine, so... yeah. We will see how determined he is to make everything right, how he will do anything in his power to make sure Robbie knows how loved he is, how wanted. This is the book where we see the extent of Priest's love for both him men really. One thing is for sure, no one, and I mean no one, comes between Priest and his two halfs of his heart without paying the consequences.

This book was more action-packed than the previous two, beautiful nonetheless. I love this series, and I'm so glad that I took a chance on it.

5✨️, of course.

Excellent story 👏👏👏

Wow, what an excellent story this was. I don’t normally like lots of dips into the past, but these were brilliantly done and all questions from the last 2 books were answered. The drama at the end was absolutely gripping and the ending was lovely. Bravo.

A thrilling continuation

In this book, the series goes from emotional drama to action-packed thriller. I did have to take a little break in the second half of the book because it did get very heavy. As usual, Charlie David's performance is phenomenal. He's half the reason I had to stop for a bit, because his voice elicits so much emotion, it's hard to not get too sucked in. I'm excited for the final book in Priest, Julien, and Robbie's story. Their love is so wonderful even through such difficulties.
