Clever story well worth a listen
Took a couple of chapters to get me hooked but then the story took off
And the characters really came to life
As always with Colin Mace the voices sounded spot on and gave great meaning
I will certainly look for other books by this author

Excellent book
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Good story with many twists - and I didn’t see the end coming. Excellent narration too. Would recommend to lovers of crime thrillers

Genuinely scary
Great story, genuinely chilling moments, terrific and quite unexpected ending, very well read by Colin Mace (as usual). Highly recommended.

Gripping!
I could not stop listening to this book. Fantastic writing kept me gripped all the way through, Hugh knows his stuff so it’s a great balance of technical detail and realism.

Very different. Expertly written, and gripping.
I was gripped to the end, enjoying the twists and turns and variety of perceptions. Expertly and dramatically perceived and written, indeed, I particularly appreciated and enjoyed the style of writing, not too much too soon, only intense when needed, The characters were vivid, despite not being described in amateurish detail. I found the narration too fast to begin with, but then it settled and was very effective
