About this listen

Aether awakening. Delving into darkness. Bonds of blood forged anew.

Kyvir and his friends are just a few days away from Belgonna’s Hold. Yet, as excited as they are to take in the splendor of a new city, surviving the journey is holding all of their attention. The team has survived leveling up in the beginner city of Iradellum, fighting man-eating hell cats, and wrong turns with the guards. All of this just to gain access to Kyvir’s Summoning Aether. A little grass isn’t going to beat them.

Upon arriving at the Dwarven stronghold, they find evidence that someone is attempting to summon the darkest of creatures into the hold itself. For what purpose? Unknown, but the thought of a demon invasion doesn’t scream "happy times". Since the only person who can awaken Kyvir is the leader of the dwarves, the Crimson Queen herself, they are forced to look deeper into the dark layers of the citadel.

Loyalties will be tested, bonds pulled taut, and new ties could bind the group in strange ways to this Crimson Queen.

Is this the real life, or is it just fantasy?

The group continue to unlock their magic and level up. They start to have their suspicions that this is more than just a fun game.

The book starts to drip feed more info about Mephisto and their real goal. My only issue is, I wonder why nobody has asked if this world more than just a normal game designed on a computer given the amount of strange things a foot.
