About this listen

A teenager is found dead, stabbed through the heart by a professional killer. Detective Stephen Greco and his team must find out who the victim was and work to piece together the backstory. Then 'The Knifeman' strikes again, leading DCI Greco into a depraved world of exploitation. How is drugs baron Vinny Costello involved? What is the connection with a private clinic that provides plastic surgery for the elite?

Another great listen. Excellent narration from Nicholas Camm looking forward to book 4 . This book ties into the series about Cavendish and Walker where Grecco is moved to another area.

... who sounded bored, making it impossible to concentrate on the story ☹️ or distinguish between the different characters.
If the series is to continue, it will do so without me!

Sadly, a poor narrator...

Enjoyed the book but the narrator makes strange pauses and has some characters speaking in a whisper.

Another good book spoiled by odd narration

Another good book from the stable of author. Spoilt by poor monotone narration and disjointed so lost continuity

Good yarn spoilt by poor narration

No complaints about performance. I don’t understand previous comments. Looking forward to the next in the series

Liked the story powered through it in a couple of days
Will listen to next in series if it’s available to do so

Good listen

I read the first book on Kindle but the subsequent 2 on Audible. The narrator’s volume kept fluctuating. It was very difficult to hear properly especially in the car. After listening for a while I think it was him trying to speak like a woman

Whispering narrator

The first two books in this series were excellent, but this is rather predictable and formulaic, and less absorbing. Still a good listen while doing the housework

A little disappointed

Seemed to take a long time to get to the crime and the outcome of it

Good storyline

I tried to listen to this a few times but just can't keep focused on the story due to the weird narration. I'm sure it would be a good story as I have liked the author's other audiobooks, but I just can't stick with this.

Dire narration
