Summary
It has been thousands of years since beast-kind were united under one banner. The empire encompasses most of the known world, driving out or enslaving the lesser races without mercy. In a state of constant war and conquest, they have perfected the art of battle.

good listen and story
came across this by chance and really enjoyed it. a good zero to hero style with the coldness of reality and the hard decisions and struggles all combined. would recommend. plenty of fighting and strategic plots involved.

one of the best non human mc that I have read in ages. nobility are basically alphas. well written combat and story with a great narrator

A good werewolf book.
An awkward start to the book - not very convincing (not to say slightly naive), however the story is captivating, entertaining and uplifting.
I have enjoyed it very much and can put it relatively high on the 'werewolf' bookshelf.

First excellent plus catalogue book I’ve found
A very well written book with a pretty original magic system and great narration. Kept me interested throughout. I’ve already bought the second audiobook.
