Mortuary technician Cassie Raven is shocked to find the body of Bronte, a talented singer on the brink of stardom, in her fridge. The two of them were once schoolmates, although not exactly friends . . .

Good storyline
The storyline was good and held my attention. The narrator did her best, but I personally found the "little girl" voice and the sharp intakes of breath a bit irritating.

Another one I couldn’t switch off.
I really enjoy this series of books. This one had the usual twists & turns. I eagerly look forward to the next one. Can’t help thinking it’s already set up. There must be more of the many layered ‘Streaky’ to come. The narrator is excellent.

I basically like the central character
I enjoyed the writing and the story was well plotted.
The central character was attractively presented and you couldn’t help but like her. All in all it was a good read

Best series I have purchased
I have just finished this (currently) the last book in the best series I have purchased from Audible. Over the series, various personalities develop and the stories take some unpredictable turns along the way keeping me intrigued throughout. This is the best series I have purchased from Audible in the 3 years I have been a member.

Relationships and the interlaced intricacies
I have loved this series from the start and keenly awaited this new book. Quite often follow ups are glossed with recalls of all the previous stories, bulking out and not moving forward. This is lightly sprinkled to ensure that previous characters and their foibles move forward. A thoroughly good listen. Can’t wait for the next book
