Britton Bay is buzzing with preparations for a wedding at the bed-and-breakfast where Molly rents a small carriage home. Molly is even helping out and plans to interview the rising star caterer - until the woman is found dead. And then the bride-to-be goes missing. To make matters worse, the venue is owned by Molly's new boyfriend's mother - and Molly was among the last people to see the victim alive. All of which makes solving the crime her top priority....
With the nuptials indefinitely on hold, Molly will have to sift through a sticky mix of suspects, including a rival caterer with a short fuse, a groom with an illicit secret, and a wedding party riddled with personal drama. Weddings can be deadly
I enjoyed this book. This is book two in the series and to be totally honest I didn't review it as soon as I finished and now I am struggling to remember what I thought. I think the story focused a bit too much on the romance for my liking, Yes I know it's about a wedding but I mean between the main character and her man. Having said that I know I liked the characters, who are likeable and of course also got an adorable dog to add to the fun. The mystery didn't contain a lot of suspects but it did keep you guessing, especially as so many mother of them were keeping secrets. Looking forward to the next book, so I must have enjoyed it.
When her landlady books in a high society wedding party at her B&B, Molly agrees to interview the famous chief. With tension high and demand coming every minute it's not surprising tempers fly but what is surprising is finding the chief dead. When the bride goes missing Molly jumps into action as the last person to have seen her, can she get this wedding back on track or will the bride or even the groom end up spending the honeymoon in jail?
I liked the narrator. She gave each character there own voice making it easy to tell the characters apart.
