Summary

Shanghai, 1928. The body of a blonde is washed up on the Beach of Dead Babies, in the heart of the smog-filled city. disappointed

I genuinely like MJ Lee as an author but I really struggled to like this novel and won't be buying any more in this series just felt a bit too contrived which I was surprised by given his other series I listened to this twice incase I'd missed some of the plot but nope right on first reading
