About this listen
Hazel Ross had no idea what she’d stepped into that night at my 18th birthday party. I’d waited years for the right moment, and there she was, forcing me to show my cards before it was time. Now she wasn’t only a pawn for our enemies, she had a target on her back.
I don’t regret it, even though I should. I could never regret making Hazel mine again. She gave me something real to fight for. It was too late for her to back out now. She was one of us again. And she was about to find out what that meant.

Brilliant!
Wow I find myself sinking deeper and deeper into Hazel's world with every word read.
Despite being surrounded by her boys she still finds life can become dark and dangerous in no time at all. How she responds to all the revelations and changes in her life will have a long lasting impact.
Great story!
Brilliant narration

Amazing
I could not stop listening to this, the first book had me hooked and this has just reeled me in even more. The tension is unreal but the chemistry between Hazel and Cruz is hot.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I love Ali Dean!!!
Wow. This book was amazing. I loved it so much. Ali Dean did a fantastic job with the story and the characters. Sarah Puckett (of course, she's a rock star) did an amazing job bringing the characters to life and played off Gregory Salinas really well. I had so much listening to it.

Angsty and Wonderful
Hazel and Cruz seem to have gotten themselves in over their heads.. Or have they?
The crew has a plan, timing isn't on their side right now, they aren't ready to bring the plan to fruition yet but since Hazel showed up at Cruz's 18th birthday and forced the timeline of events they will have to move forward ready or not.
The questions are starting to get answered and whoa there are so many players in the game, so much that Hazel had no idea of. It's amazing the secrets people can keep even when they are so close to you. It's also amazing how much learning the truth can completely change your life. I love the angst in this book and the suspense. I couldn't walk away I had to know what happened next.
I love the fact that you get Cruz's POV during this book. I craved it in book 1 so having it during this book made me so excited.
Gregory Salinas is one of my favorite male narrators and he did not disappoint. Sarah Puckett is making her way up the list of favorite female narrators as well, she does so good with the emotions and exclamations!

Defiance Falls Revolution
This is the second book in the Defiance Falls trilogy, and it was just as good as the first. There is the right amount of danger, suspense, and romance mixed in with secrets and lies. I love that we get Cruz's point of view in this book along with Hazel's. There is a dramatic cliffhanger at the end of this book. It's been an exciting ride, and I can't wait to see how it all ends in Defiance Falls War. Sarah Puckett and Gregory Salinas both did a great job bringing this story to life.

Cruz and Hazel
Cruz and his crew have been gathering proof against the Malone’s and things are heating up. It’s scary the Malones keep trying to get to Hazel and I love she gets some retribution in this book. More angst in this book and we get Cruz’s point of view.
Loved Gregory Salinas as Cruz it adds to the experience of this audiobook. Sarah is amazing too!
This one ends in quite the cliffhanger so I gotta get onto the next book.

Action packed and the suspense is rising!
So glad to have picked up book 2 of this series, as it left me wanting more after the Defiance Falls! I need to know what is going to happen. This book is very enlightening, giving us a lot of back story into the feud between the Donahues and Malones. I don't think Hazel had any idea what she was getting into when she and Cruz got back together, but this story has a little bit of everything. The weaving of the families is intricate and the story intriguing. Being a huge fan of romantic suspense, I am enjoying Ali Dean's journey into the mafia, and how she includes not only technology to make things current, but also adds in the devastation of dementia with family members. It gives the story a feeling of relevance and adds depth to the characters. I can't wait to see how it all plays out.
Sarah Puckett and Gregory Salinas dually narrate this installment of the series. Puckett continues her wonderful portrayal of Hazel. She gives her a maturity in her voice, yet keeps her a little naive, perfect for this role. Salinas is Cruz, and he brings him to life, giving him the young man sound with a wisdom far beyond his years. I enjoyed this team and look forward to the conclusion.

Second in trilogy, must listen in order
I usually start my audiobook reviews by sharing my thoughts on the story itself, but having two really fabulous narrators is probably why I liked the story so much so I'm changing it up this time. Sarah Puckett and Gregory Salinas did an excellent job bringing the characters to life with their performances, and I highly recommend listening to the audio version of Defiance Falls Revolution.
The story was really engaging. A little vigilante-ish, but still good. I appreciated that this book ended in a place that left me wanting more, but not right in the middle of the action (*cough* book one *cough*). I'm anxiously awaiting the audiobook release of Defiance Falls War.

Even better than book one
And the hits keep on coming!
This book was even more riveting than book one.
Hazel gets all the intel on what is going on around her—what she has unknowingly put herself in the middle of—and finds out the hard way that she can’t trust everyone around her.
More drama, more deception, more of a connection between all the main characters. It was just so engrossing.
Sarah once again slayed the narration. While Greg might not have been my first choice for narrating Cruz, I can’t deny that he also did a fabulous job.
