Summary

Make your stand against the darkness with this comprehensive stunning artifact handed down by the Horadric Order, your key to the lore of Blizzard Entertainment's Diablo® franchise.

Amid the restless evil of Sanctuary, only the Horadrim, an ancient order of heroes and scholars, wield the knowledge needed to light the way for humanity. In the Book of Lorath, join Lorath Nahr, one of the last of the dwindling Horadrim, on a journey through Sanctuary's most powerful relics and the stories behind them. It is Lorath's hope that this volume will preserve his knowledge for all time . . . and pass it down to those who will inherit the fight against the Prime Evils.

Direct from the Diablo® development team and award-winning author Matthew J. Kirby, this immersive, must-have compendium showcases the artifacts that have often been, and might yet be, the key to tipping the fate of the world.

Set after main campaign

Fantastically performed by Ralph Ineson and follows Lorath’s journey, set after the events of the main campaign. Documenting lore of various Diablo items, creatures and beings along the way.

Diablo IV Reference book in audiobook format

I thought this was a story book when I bought it, however it is the narration of a new reference book, available recently on Amazon, for anyone playing Diablo IV.
I would recommend buying the hard copy of the book to accompany this if you are fan of Diablo IV and want to know more about the lore.
I like the narrator; he sounds straight out of the Diablo IV game.

Update: Just played the game again and I'm sure the narrator of this book is the voice actor for Lorath in Diablo IV; nice one :)

Absolutely loved this!!! - diablo 1 to 4 lore

If you have any interest in diablos world this is for you. It isn't just the YouTube version "the book of lorath" which has the same narrator and illustrations etc. That is just a snipet of this book a section. This goes onto to all the artifacts throughout the entire world of sanctuary, like wirst leg from the cow level, visiting different cities the player does, items from the game with discriptions on how they became to be. In game items with full back story like bul chaos etc. It tells you all about certain demons like andreil and even rakanishui gets a mention etc! Honestly it's so good if you love to learn about the items, demons and lands you play in when playing d1 to d4... Ahh the only reason I'd mark it down a star is because it's finished!!! Greatly narrated by lorath too! If ur into diablos world and lore and don't just want a story of a hero saving the day but an encyclopedia of the world, like a real life version of the phareos of eygpt or the Romans and there tools etc. But of the diablo world then this is gonna blow your mind!
