Summary

From best-selling author Lisa Lang Blakeney comes a sweet and sexy stand-alone friends to lovers romance set in the world of professional football.

Olivia: I was the new kid, in a small town, who didn't fit in when I met Mason Bridgewater. He was big, bossy, and almost knocked me out cold when we first met.

Our friendship grew, and a love grew greater out of that, but now I've ruined it. Will he ever speak to me again?

Mason: I was the golden boy, from a small town, whose entire world was rocked when I met Olivia Robertson. She talked differently, she acted differently, and I knew pretty quickly that I'd never meet a girl like her again.

Our friendship was unbreakable, our attraction undeniable, and our love unforgettable...or so I thought. The girl who meant everything threw me away like I meant nothing.

Will she ever love me again?

Contains mature themes.

ANOTHER GREAT HEA 💞💔💝

I initially got & read Diesel when it first came out for Free to Give My True Personal Review.

But Heck I couldn't exactly remembered how the story went so felt like I HAD to reread this epic best friends & first love actually went & I'm so glad I brought & read/ listened to the fantastic audio about Mason Bridgewater & his new neighbour Olivia Robertson when her mother brought them to Bear Springs when they were 11 & her mother had taken a new job in The College in the town & they both had a love of Football.
But it's not until their final high school year do they allow themselves to open up their hearts until Olivia listens to Mason's Uncle's words instead of talking to Mason which breaks them. Until they have to work together & she opens up & tells him that she thought she was DOING IT FOR HIM NOT FOR THEM....
Good Narrations
But what a Beautiful Togetherness with some heart ache & building 💔 😪 😢 💗

friends to lovers.

Book 3 in this series and I really loved listening to it.Narrated by Hayden Bishop and Jeremy York who just make every story so easy to get lost in.They are an Excellent duo and as always did an Amazing job bringing these characters to life.
Mason and Olivia's story goes way back to when they are young and innocent, their parents are neighbours and so they strike up a friendship.
But that friendship goes above and beyond normal friends they are the best of friends and grow up together..until they start to see one another in a not so friendly way.
It is one night at a party when everything changes and they kiss, from that night onwards they are together and the love they feel takes them through to college.
Mason aka Diesel plays football and aims to play in the NFL,Olivia is at college but has no idea what she wants to do..she loves football and wants to be involved in that somehow. Their relationship changes again and they become lovers and insatiable for one another..But Interference from Mason's family has them being driven apart, leaving two broken hearts.
5 YEARS Pass by and Olivia is a publicist and Mason is a successful NFL Player and has been traded to The Nighthawks NFL team the team Olivia works for...Talk about awkward..
Now she has to work closely with the man she still loved, will they both survive without hurting one another again?
I LOVED Mason he is a dream he is so thoughtful and everything he did was for his love for Olivia but she didn't see it that way ,she felt like a burden in their relationship. She never had the confidence in their LOve like what Mason had and that was the problem that tore them apart.
This was really an enjoyable story,I loved hearing how they first met until their break and what mended them back together..The Epilogue was so perfect I swooned over it.
Loved Lisa's words she is incredible at writing short stories that pack a punch.
Brilliant
LOved it.
5 Stars.

This story could have been double the size

The story was so good but then seemed to wrap up in 10 mins when it could easily have been double the size book! I was livid when it just finished!! 😂😂😂

Way too light

I really enjoyed the two previous books but this one just seems unfinished. There are so many interesting topics but the author just jumps over them which makes the story light and uninteresting instead of letting the reader really feel their pain and sorrows.
Narraters did an excellent job - hope to hear hayden bishop with teddy Hamilton at some point.
