Summary

One thing unites the wealthy Farthing family and hardworking Dilly Carey - Olivia, the daughter Dilly gave to the Farthings years before.

Dilly is still living with the consequences when unmarried Olivia arrives on her doorstep, with a baby girl in tow, begging for help.

Olivia has a secret she only feels safe telling Dilly. Sworn to secrecy, Dilly agrees to help. She will find a way for Olivia to keep her daughter without revealing the true circumstances of her birth.

A really wonderful book

Once again I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the narrator was brilliant. I’m hoping there is going to be a follow up.

Dilly's Lass

Another lovely book by Rosie Goodwin narratored by Charlie Sanderson. This is the second book from Dilly's (saga) the first one being Dilly's Sacrifice, I'm not sure how many are in this series but I do hope there are a few more as I am so enjoying the two I've listened to.
If you want to listen to books with a feel good factor then listen to books by Charlie Sanderson and you certainly won't go wrong.

Much Better than the First Book

I review the first book in this series as bland and it didn’t hold my interest. However I now feel very guilty because I enjoyed this second book very much more. Perhaps it was just a slow burner? This book seemed much more interesting and I actually liked the characters. So much so that I have now purchased the third book in this trilogy and an looking forward to finding out “what happened next”.

loved this series. excited to get on to book 3

loved this book, great story, quite frustrating to listen to when the hardships people go through are due to the year they are living in. so many unnecessary painful sacrifices women especially went through because of what society or religion told them how to live. was excited to read book two not expecting there to be 3 books but very excited to get on to book 3. lovely storylines to all and a good size book to get your teeth into. And I love the narrator voice, I found this series by searching the narrator.
