Summary
Abigail Haddock is stunning, sensible, and some would say...stuffy. But it's not really her fault. She was raised in one of Wessco's oldest, most affluent, aristocratic families - "stuffy" is their middle name. So is successful. Abby's working overtime to distinguish herself as a top-notch physician, just as her family legacy demands.
She doesn't have time for nonsense.
Tommy Sullivan's all about nonsense.
Sure, he's an elite bodyguard with lethal skills and co-owner of the renowned, S&S Securities Firm - protector of the wealthy and titled. But he's also rowdy, fun, and thoroughly irresistible.
Tommy knows how to have a good time, and he's never seen someone more in need of a good time than Abby. The lass needs long, wet, filthy kisses - STAT - and he's just the man for the job.
It doesn't take long for a wildly sexy, sinfully satisfying, no-strings attached arrangement to turn into something more. Something sweet and addictive and real. But Tommy and Abby are too royally stubborn to admit it.
Opposites attract, everyone knows that. But can their red-hot relationship last - can they love...for forever?

Explicit
Good story but intimate scenes described in too much detail and very explicitly.
Slight error in accident scene that other readers will probably pick up on.
All in all, not too bad as a happily ever after sort of story.

Andi Arndt does a British accent so well
I was provided an early copy of this from Valentine PR on behalf of the author. My review has not been influenced and my opinion is my own.
I have been a fan of Emma Chase for quite a few years. I only trust her to write Royal romances, honestly.
I've been waiting for Tommy's story it feels like since I first read Royally Matched. And the wait was 100% worth it.
Tommy was everything I was waiting on and Abby? She was perfect for him.
A friend to bodyguard to friends to lover situation is what we have here and Tommy Sullivan is dreamy.
I have missed Emma Chase's writing, but it was so easy to get back into. The Royally series is one of my favourite.
Andi Arndt is on point with her upper crust British Accent and Rupert Channing really brought Tommy to life.

Loved it
Dirty Charmer was my first Emma Chase novel and I had no idea what I was missing out on. This was an opposites attract story featuring the uptight, accomplished medical resident from an affluent family and her sexy flirty bodyguard. The story was filled with humor, witty banter, some drama and likable and relatable characters. I loved Tommy and he was absolutely perfect for Abby. These two had intense chemistry and scorching hott steamy scenes and I enjoyed seeing how their relationship blossomed. This is a story that shows how being with the right person can bring out the best in an individual. It gave me all the feel s and I would highly recommend it to all lovers of contemporary romance.
I listened to the audiobook version of this novel and Andi Arndt and Rupert Channing did a fantastic job narrating it. They brought the story to life and embodied the characters. I loved the accents and their voices were clear and understandable. I was a pleasure listening to them narrate this novel.

Decent, but not great
I enjoyed some aspects of this book, but there were too many fast forward in time and summary of what’s happened sections for my liking.

Light and fun!
I’ve read/listened to just a handful of Emma Chase’s books, and now that I’ve finished this one, I’m determined to correct that!
Dirty Charmer is a light, fun story. There’s a bit of drama, but not enough to weigh the whole thing down.
The characters are wonderful. I loved that Tommy knew to balance work and play, and I could relate to Abby- I’ve been described as uptight more than a few times!
Andi Arndt and Rupert Channing did a wonderful job narrating. I loved Andi’s British accent and Rupert Channing is a new-to-me narrator whose work I will now be looking out for!
Dirty Charmer is an opposites-attract contemporary romance written in dual first-person POV and recorded in dual narration. It’s a standalone that ends with an HEA. No cliffhanger, no cheating.
I received this book at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Awful narration ruins it
I can’t keep listening to this. The narration is terrible. The accents are so all over the place. And it’s full of words and mannerisms that are inconsistent and grating to brits. The story itself is not awful, but is too slow and dull for me.

Absolutely awful narration
I couldn’t finish this and was extremely disappointed after listening to 3 brilliant emma chase books before this one. The male narrators accent is AWFUL and he in no way sounds like the sexy man he is supposed to be portraying. The female accent isn’t much better but it is the male narration that ruins it for me!
This would be so much better re-done with better narrators

Dreadfully narrated, tiresome drivel 👎
I normally love Emma Chase books, and listened to 3 included by EC which were 5 star and fabulous. I couldn’t fault them at all.
However, trying to follow up my listening delight at her stories, I chose this absolutely appalling offering. It’s so dreadful, I actually want my credit returned. It is literally that bad. ANDI ARNDT …..WHAT IN THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING??? You and Zachary Webber are my dream team of narrators, but this is terrible. NO NO AND HELL NO!
This usually fabulous narrator infuriated me with her astoundingly terrible faux upper class English accent. The male narrator Rupert somebody or other, was worse with his incredibly inconsistent accent, and without being unkind, he sounded like he had a speech impediment, which is no good for narrating. I could be wrong, but if he is the same guy who narrated L J Shen’s ‘The Rake’ I slated that heavily too. It was just as dire. I don’t think I’m alone in saying BAD NARRATION CAN LITERALLY RUIN AN AUDIOBOOK.
The title details read similarly to the other 3 fabulous books of Emma Chase’s I had listened to, which made me feel ok parting with my credit. HUGE MISTAKE!!!
This fairytale esque offering, with its ridiculously fictitious aristocratic family/royal family, and fake place, is almost insulting with the level of supposed British isms crammed in at every opportunity. It was so far removed from the stellar work of her 3 audiobooks I had previously listened to, it beggared belief. It’s almost like it was written by someone else. The beginning was so dull, and the male narrator so inconsistent, that I was inadvertently tuning out. I am dumbfounded and extremely disappointed by this listen. It is an absolute dumpster fire of writing, narration and production.
TAXI for whoever ok’d this to be on Audible. Shame on you. It’s a complete insult to my ears. 😳👎💩📖
Would DEFINITELY NOT recommend. DO NOT WASTE YOUR CREDIT OR MONEY ON THIS

Dull and boring
There isn’t much I liked about this book.
Maybe because I’m British and I know that the author got so much wrong, with both characters. Made it cringy.
Andi did a good job. Some of the words were new to the male narrator so he got them wrong. I would think that would have been picked up by the editor.
