Hopper is awesome! And more than a little crazy. He & Liam & their associates go through some bad stuff, but Hopper is nothing if not persistent. He eventually gets his man. Love these guys, Kelly's world & characters, all the snarky humor & sarcasm one can handle, it's great! I enjoyed all the banter, the tension & chemistry, brainstorming and action scenes. Mobsters & billionaires aren't usually my 'thing', but I absolutely LOVE the Stefano family. Liam & the others did right by Hopper, that's what matters. Liam discovered some killer stuff about himself as well. They weirdly balance each other. Kelly Fox writes amazing stories, people, action, snark, humor, steam, & HEAs whether it's mobsters, billionaires, k1nky cowboys or retired soldiers - doesn't matter, she brings it all to life with heart, heat & just that little twisted streak that warms your heart & makes you FEEL everything! Amazing!
Declan Winters is a very talented narrator, bringing such emotion & life into Kelly's characters & moving the story/scenes along beautifully. I must say, his performance of Hopper was phenomenal. There's a point where the listener can FEEL Hopper vibrating with excitement - more than one, in fact - and Declan played it brilliantly. Absolutely love this author/narrator pairing & hope for more!

I had read this book when it first came out and quickly realized that out of all the amazing characters, the wonderful stories, that Hopper had captured my heart. He’s wanted his RICO for so long and to see that happen was everything. Liam is exactly what this special man needs - they are loving, dangerous and 2 pieces of the same puzzle. Declan Winters delivers another spectacular performance and cemented my love for these beautiful men. I’ll listen again and again.

I really enjoyed this series but this one is my absolute favourite out of them all.
I loved Hopper and his story and was so happy that he got his forever man,Kelly fox definitely saved the best til last in my opinion ❤️

This one gave me the same wonderful feeling as seeing George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez play cat and mouse with each other in "Out of Sight". Hopper and Liam make the most unlikely pair but Liam is the only one who seems to realize that. Hopper knows what he wants - Liam - and sets out in the most demented and charming way to get it. Loved these two together and the action plot Fox has woven around this romantic duo was perfect. Declan Winters did a superb job bringing the steam and fizzy lightness where needed but also letting us hear the deeper emotions of the characters as well.

MM, Mafia, FBI, Billionaire, Romance. Wow, Wow, Wow... I could not get enough of this!! I have listened to this multiple times, repeatedly. Even in the most violent scenes I could not stop laughing, Hoppers wonderfully almost childlike glee and his almost innocence whilst knife deep into an enemy was entralling whilst his persistence in stalking the love of his life was...I have to say...so, so sweet. I want more of this!! five stars is not enough. And then to have the cameo appearances of my other favourite serial killer was fantastic!! Guaranteed HEA.

“Never change, Hop”. Isn’t that the truth. I heard that line and emitted a happy sigh. I adored this book in print but when I heard lines like
“It’s important to find joy in what you do” I laughed out loud. Yes, murder-happy Hopper’s story is brought delightfully to life by Declan Winters. He also draws the reader deep into Liam’s grief in a way that is tangible.

“Anthony’s eyebrow is loud.” Is another line that was made into pure gold by Winters. It’s like a delightful dance between Fox’s witty dialogue and Winters’ voice acting.

Otherwise, Liam and Hopper’s story is as fun as the first time. Hopper slowly peels away his layers and readers fall for this sweet, murderous, thoughtful man. Liam struggles with his place in the world and Hop helps him realize the answer.

With lots of appearances from the mobsters and billionaires from previous books, this one is 5 delightfully enjoyable stars across the board.
