About this listen
The Emperor of the Forge, Sage of Stones - meaningless titles in the face of death.
After more than 700 years, he was expecting a peaceful and lonely end to his long life. That, however, was not meant to be. A single choice changed his fate, and his soul was forced to live again as a dungeon. Reborn but shackled to the heart of a mountain. This old soul has lost everything - and more.
In a world of gods and demons, there is no room for a weak newborn dungeon. Now with a new name, Smit and his creations will have to carve out their own place. The path may be long and dangerous, but with a soul hardier than stone and a will stronger than iron, will he be able to forge his own destiny?
“Debut author David Sanchez-Ponton knocks it out of the park with a brand-new Dungeon Core Novel that is sure to be up there with the likes of Divine Dungeon, Rogue Dungeon, and Bone Dungeon. Give this one a read - you won't regret it for a second!" (James A. Hunter, best-selling author of Rogue Dungeon, Bibliomancer, and Viridian Gate Online.)

Nice idea, not a fan of the narration
I’d like to see where the story goes but I do have a few gripes.
The pacing is a little slow, and the story jumps around between different perspectives too much.
It feel a bit disjointed and as a result, the characters aren’t easy to love.
The thing the grinds my gears the most however is that the narrator seems to break the sentences down into equal length sections, emphasising the end of the section as if it were the end of the sentence.
Don’t get me wrong, I struggle with the same thing when reading aloud, but it’s something that you should work on for a professional space.

good story, bad sound quality
really like the story and read the books with much pleasure but the narration of the audio book is done badly. the speech is hurried, the voice sounds mechanical, sentences and words are weirdly pronounced with the emphasis at strange places like listening to a program reading a text instead of a person

confused but working with it
I really enjoyed this book. I've tried many dungeon core books but they don't click with me all that much to be honest. This was different though! I really liked it. The dungeon building paints such a vivid and beautiful pictures! The only real "gripe" I have with this book is that the stats and some of the dungeon parts got a bit mind numbing and I found myself tuning out but those were the clear minority. I like the Azure Arrows I like Echo and every character feels... complete? Its just fun to watch over them as they mature and grow. I can't wait to get to the next part of the series!

the climax... does not fell like a climax
Spoilers below short version is that the climax has no stakes and i litteraly didn't realise it was happening
when i heard the climax, i didn't even realise it was the climax, that is bad, because while the chalenge of the ogre fight may be great, you feel no tension because you can't posibly believe, that anything is going to happen to him from mindless ogres.

wonderful fun story and a brilliant performance
A fresh look at a dungeon core story with a touch of cultivation. I came off of a very serious book and needed a fun pick me up and this is just what i needed, well done David Sanchez-Ponton for a fun imaginative story and to Henry Kramer for bringing the characters to life!

constantly shift in quality
there are constant shifts in perspective and audio quality. This makes it incredibly hard to focus on the story and plot

DNF
When the main character "woke up" after reaching the 1st stage this book lost most of it's appeal. The main character goes from intresting with the potential for growth or a 2d monotone dude that needs to craft because he is a dwarf, but with none of the deatailes or "joy" I'd expect.
