Why had nobody told me about this author!? I devoured this and definitely will read/listen to more from this author. Outstanding story and characters- hard to remember when this was written as fresh in its content.

Beautifully read, totally compelling story. Vivid in every detail, I was immersed that I felt as if every character came to life. Such an amazing story line. Fantastic book and wonderfully read, a story I will listen to again.

I fully recommend this audiobook. The story and the narration is a superb and the audiobook belongs to one of my favourite audibooks.

What a fabulous & riveting read. Not an author I knew & decided upon as a whim but what a treat. Definitely one to rival one of my favourite authors, Wilkie Collins. Interesting story, narrated very well & delivered beautifully. If you like a period drama then this one comes highly recommended.
