About this listen
The inspiration for the major motion picture Priscilla directed by Sofia Coppola, this New York Times best seller reveals the intimate story of Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley, told by the woman who lived it.
Decades after his death, millions of fans continue to worship Elvis the legend. But very few knew him as Elvis the man. Here in her own words, Priscilla Presley tells the story of their love, revealing the details of their first meeting, their marriage, their affairs, their divorce, and the unbreakable bond that has remained long after his tragic death.
A tribute to both the man and the legend, Elvis and Me allows Elvis fans the world over an unprecedented look at the true life of the King of Rock ‘N’ Roll and the woman who loved him.

Beautifully told story of the truth about Elvis
A true account of a love story, sad he passed so young. And now his daughter is with him sadly. R.I.P to both of them, she must be heartbroken 💔

Loved hearing Priscilla’s side
I really enjoyed this book. Getting to know an Elvis and Priscilla through her eyes was a privilege and brave of her to share. I was amazed at their relationship, especially while she was so young. His decline and demise is a tragedy. She was brave and strong to leave when she did. Thank you Priscilla for showing us this life from your lens.
(I especially loved her giggles while reading).

Unbelievable
Being an Elvis fan I have read many pieces and snips about Elvis, but I wanted to hear Priscilla’s side of the story. I always thought she didn’t deserve all the criticism she endured. As a young girl I could understand how flattered she was with Elvis’s interest in her, but honestly could you imagine any girl still wanting to be around him the way he treated her, you would surely begin to hate and resent him. I know she got out in the end, but it took her a long time.

A little bit of insight into the person behind the fame.
Other books focus on the various events that take place in Elvis life (mainly portaining to him as a celebrity). This is a look more at Elvis as a person. It talks about things in his everyday life that only the people who were often in his company would remember. It also gives a great insight into the relationship he had with his wife all throughout their lives together. A heartwarming, sad and enlightening read.

A love story that stood the test of time
This book was nice to get both sides of this love story. You always read and watch about Elvis. Hearing how a young Priscilla found her love but also found her life and herself was wonderful. While their path wasn’t easy she loved him till his dying day and she makes no secret of the fact that he helped make her strong women she is.

excellent...and disturbing at times
You dont realise what a misogynistic, chauvinistic.....well groomer he was. Listening to her speak of their first meeting was heartbreaking. He had some gross views on women! brutal listening at times!

A great insight into the world if a great man!
Loved hearing just part of Elvis' story by the person who was really the love of his life.
It was also more enjoyable hearing Priscilla actually reading it, bringing her true emotion.
Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this!!
