Summary

Trauma, addiction, and recovery. Aged 15, Matthew was hit by a car travelling at high speed. Although physically he made a full recovery, his mental health was never the same again.

Experimenting with drugs and alcohol started off as an escape from everyday life, but it soon turned into an addiction that completely took over his already fragile mind. It turned him into a thief and a liar, and it caused his mental health to reach breaking point over and over again.

Whenever he managed to climb back to his feet, he announced a "fresh start", but his demons always had other ideas and knocked him down again. This is the inspirational memoir of an ordinary young man’s struggles and how he finally found a way out, showing that recovery is possible.

"I greatly admire and support Matt Ingram’s decision to share his story. It is not only a tremendous personal achievement for him but this story will also serve to break the stigma of addiction which we know only too well can happen to anyone. Matt owns this experience entirely by being totally honest and lays bare the consequences of his actions and behaviours. Endless Possibilities is such an apt title demonstrating to everyone who reads it that freedom from the illness of addiction opens up so many creative opportunities to help and inspire others to do the same. Despite losing my son to addiction I have always championed the cause never to give up hope for recovery. I am proud to know Matt and I believe that this book is just the start of a fantastic journey for him. I cannot praise his efforts and courage highly enough." (Elizabeth Burton-Phillips MBE)

Open and honest

Very interesting, honest, engaging. A good insight in to his old life and the world of substance abuse that people might not see in their day to day life.

Would recommend a good short listen witch might help a few people aswell
