I was fortunate enough to meet the author of this very informative book at Leicester library. This book is indeed a story of triumph over adversity. I’m grateful for new knowledge around the debilitating condition known as sickle cell syndrome and its associated health effects. I recommend that everyone acquire such knowledge especially those in the medical profession.
