I love Molly she is one of my favorite authors. Her characters has such depth and are so humanly flawed they feel real!!

downside is that I don't like the female reader.
Her breathy way to speak made it annoying to listen to. it was way to unnatural!

A heart felt story with likeable characters a good plot. It is a bit too long but there is so much drama that just wanted to read on to see how everything unfold. The narration is brilliant.

But you know a narrator can make or break a book for me and Mr Jason Clarke makes it come to life, with a voice like smooth liquor ❤️

I got this audiobook to use a mental holiday from my university study schedule and am glad I did. Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke are favorites of mine, so the performance was guaranteed to be good, Molly McAdams is a one click buy for me too, so I knew the writing would whisk me away someplace cozy with characters that feel like old friends.

Book 1 of the Brewed Series does not disappoint.

"Don't Fall In Love with Me" that's the warning that caused this Dixon brother to break that rule.

Writer Rae is in Amber, Texas for some small town research, leaving yet another man and an engagement ring. Sawyer Dixon has been the town man-ho ever since a personal tragedy left him terrified to put more skin in the game than a few hours of the naked kind. Busty Curvy Beauty Rae is exactly his type... and therefore he tries his hardest (and fails) to avoid her.... by showing up everywhere she is.

Romance and racing heartbeats abound but it becomes clear when Rae's real reason for being in town is revealed that she was serious when she told him their I love you, would only ever be connected to a good bye.

The story dealt with an extremely distressing scenario, which I felt was written well and was incorporated into the plot with sensitivity.

love this story, this is the first book I have listened to by Molly McAdams and definitely will not be rhe last, think I have my first Nartator crush, Jason's voice is amazing and just so right. have already recommended this book to my book friends.

First in a series of small town romance stories, and yes, I’m going to be listening to the rest of this series on audio (because, Jason Clarke, need I say more - he just makes audio better).Sawyer Dixon has been badly burned, his childhood sweetheart broke his heart, he missed his shot at the NFL, and to say he has issues is an understatement. So when Rae Jacobs breezes into town, reminding him of everything he’s lost, he takes an instant dislike to her. Rae also has her issues, and let’s just say - Sawyer Dixon was never in her plan, oh, and the secrets, let’s not forget the secrets, she has a few of them. Enemies to lovers? Maybe. Small town romance? Yes. Grumpy bachelor? I’ll say. Addictive? Most definitely.
