About this listen
An all-new stand-alone from New York Times best-selling author Julia Kent
It all started with the wrong Help Wanted ad. Of course it did.
I'm a professional fluffer. It's not what you think. I stage homes for a living. Real estate agents love me, and my work stands on its own merits.
Sigh. Get your mind out of the gutter. Go ahead. Laugh. I'll wait.
See? That's the problem. My career has used the term "fluffer" for decades. I didn't even know there was a more...lascivious definition of the term.
Until it was too late.
The ad for a "professional fluffer" on Craigslist seemed like divine intervention. My last unemployment check was in the bank. I was desperate. Rent was due. The ad said cash paid at the end of the day. The perfect job!
Staging homes means showing your best angle. The same principle applies in making a certain kind of movie. Turns out a "fluffer" doesn't arrange decorative pillows on a couch.
They arrange other soft, round-ish objects.
The job isn't hard. Er, I mean, it is - it's about being hard. Or, well...helping other people to be hard.
Oh, man....
And that's the other problem. A man. No, not one of the stars on the movie set. Will Lotham - my high school crush. The owner of the house where we're filming. Illegally. In a vacation rental.
By the time the cops show up, what I thought was just a great house staging gig turned into a nightmare involving pictures of me with an undressed star, Will rescuing me from an arrest, and a humiliating lesson in my own naivete.
My job turned out to be so much harder than I expected. But you know what's easier than I ever imagined?
Having all my dreams come true.

Help Wanted ...
Fluffy by Julia Kent is an awesome listen! I loved the characters of Mallory and Will, along with some secondary ones to. The book had me laughing out loud. I loved the banter between characters. Erin Mallon was so wonderful bringing the characters to life. I was captivated by the imagery in this book. I loved how naive Mallory was, and so enjoyed this book. Thank you Audiobook Obsession for recommending this listen. I loved it!

Completely Delightful
This story was completely delightful! Erin Mallon does an exceptional job telling the story of Malory and Will. I inappropriately laughed multiple times when reading, to the point where my husband was giving me weird looks. The absurd situations that Malory finds herself in are cringeworthy but you can't stop listening. I had heard wonderful things about this book and they were all true. This is a must read when you are in the mood for a good laugh! This book was reviewed by a #audiobookobsessionreviewer

Fun and funny!
This story was Fluffy by name, fluffy by nature. It was fun and humorous with some fab characters.
Mallory Monahan is a professional fluffer - of houses. When she innocently applies for a fluffer role, she ends up being shocked in more ways than one, when she comes face to face with her high-school crush, Will Lotham, for the first time in ten years. Although she's mortified beyond belief, she can't really afford to turn his surprising job offer down, even though her old feelings come roaring back to life. And, what happens when it appears that the attraction is mutual?
This was a great romantic comedy. Mallory and her two best friends, Persephone (AKA Perky) and Fiona (AKA Feisty) have the funniest conversations. Mallory is a brain box who went off to an Ivy League college but came back to live in her hometown. I loved that she knew who she was and what she wanted out of life. Will was gorgeous and flirty, and always seemed to be chasing after Mal, but he was swoony thoughtful and wasn't about to give up on her.
Erin Mallon is da bomb! She's so talented! I love her intonation and her delivery. Her male voices are always great, too. I laughed so much at this story! Looking forward to listening to Perky's book next.

Laugh out loud brilliance!
I actually listened to this book over a year ago the first time round but that was before I started to take the time to review the hard work of both the author and narrator. This book really needs to be shared, appreciated and loved by all.
It is the quirkiest, laugh out loud, funny book, that will pull you in and tickle your ribs… Then before you know it, the book has finished and you need the next!
Julia Kent’s writing brilliance teamed up with Erin Mallon’s simplistic comedic performance will have you buying the whole “Do Over” series without a second thought!
This series is well worth your hard-earned pennies… You will not be disappointed, so buy the whole series, settle down and enjoy!

I couldn't stop laughing!
Julia Kent can do comedy! She firmly plants herself near the top of my go-to rom-com authors after reading this!
If you're in need of a laugh and a book filled with a seriously unfortunate set of events, this is for you.

The best kind of rom-com!
An absolutely gut busting rom-com! Mallory and Will are the perfect duo to battle it out in this story about a high school valedictorian and star football player who find themselves bumping into each other back in their home town under the most awkward and hilarious circumstances.
Mallory was so quick witted but also comically naive. Her employment snaffoo had me laughing so hard! One of the best story lines I’ve ever encountered! Throughout the story, she seemed to have to fight for her decision to stay close to home after high school while everyone else moved on.
Will, the swoony high school crush of Mallory is all grown up and even more delicious 10 years later! He became a successful businessman but still holds some of that high school hierarchy nostalgia. It comes back to bite him in the butt when he neglects to stand up for Mallory after he asked her to their 10 year high school reunion. Then there’s groveling, lots of groveling!
This couple an instant ‘ship for me! I wanted Mallory and Will to figure out their feelings and admit them out loud! But the slow burn was certainly delectable! I loved the ending and the epilogue and can’t wait for Perky’s story!
Erin Mallon did an absolutely phenomenal job pulling off this narration. Her enthusiasm and emotion came through loud and clear in this hilarious story.

Hilarious
I had a smile on my face all the way through this book. The story oozes humour with plenty of laugh out loud scenes. I sniggered at all the double entendres at the beginning and I adored the flirty banter between Mal and Will. This was a really cute and romantic comedy.

Hilarious!!
If you're looking for a book that will make you genuinely laugh out loud, get this one. It is one of the absolute best romantic comedies I've ever encountered. Loved the writing and the characters. It is also a second chance romance and does well in that department too. This is my first read from this author (with the exception of Little Miss Perfect, the prequel) and she has easily gained me as a fan. There is just so much to love about this book, and to top it all off we also get a happily ever after.
The narrator did a wonderful job giving these characters so much personality. The tone of voice was perfect throughout. An easy listen that flew by. Excellent.

Quirky And Unique
This is a very unique story. I enjoyed it very much! It was a refreshing take on the romance genre. It almost felt entirely authentic to me. It was funny and quirky. It wasn't in any way cringy or predictable. I find that's where I get uncomfortable with romances. Especially the sexual ones. I can't express how surprised I was with the book. I can't wait to read the next one!
The narrator did a fantastic job. It's like she gave the quirky characters, even more, quirk and pizazz! I'm not sure if I listened to this narrator before but I definitely will again. I strongly recommend both the book and the narrator. I would also love to explore more books by this author. I have been curious about her for a while. I'm glad I finally gave her a chance!
