Tia Louise. That is all I need to say. Her writing style always intrigues me and tugging at my heart and keeping me on the edge of my seat. Rainey is on a mission to find the person who murdered her father. Given the chance, she goes undercover at a college to get a ledger from a professor that works there. This is Dirk's first-time teaching, and his attraction to his student, Reanna is so strong he doesn't know how he is going to get through his semester. Rainey too finds herself wanting to be with him, and as her target, she figures it is a chance to get what she needs in more ways than one! Feelings come into play, and when things get sticky, they both have to figure out what comes next. Will Dirk be able to get over her betrayal? Will her love be enough? I love this forbidden romance. Just enough to keep the thrill of the budding romance blooming, with that air of getting caught. Then add in the thread of danger that catches up with Rainey and I was completely captivated. This is the kind of book I could not put down, I fell in love and needed to know how it all turned out. Plus getting to see Scar is just a bonus! Fun listen and highly recommend it.

How can it get even better? Marcio Catalano and Samantha Brentmoor can read it to me! This team knows how to tell a story, and together they made it exciting and romantic. Catalano captured Dirk. His hesitation, his attraction and his passion. Brentmoor understands Rainey, creating her character with an edge, smart and alluring. It's a fantastic listen, not to be missed.
