About this listen
Her new anchoress terrifies her servants and welcomes visitors to her window at night. One of those visitors is Brother Thomas, a man the prioress secretly loves and whose loyalty to her as head of Tyndal Priory is now suspect.
Bodies multiply. Suspects disappear. No one likes the direction the evidence is pointing, but God's justice must be rendered - even for the forsaken soul.

dodgy recording at the beginning
the recording broke up at the beginning. I don't know why you have to put 15 words in a review

Forsaken Soul
This narrative had so much potential yet the narrator was so bad. Bring back the original narrator

A dip in form
Having loved the first four books, I have to admit I really struggled with this one. The change of narrator really spoils things for me - she is so slow. I had to change the audio speed to make her read at a reasonable pace.
Very little happens in this book, and the killer is pretty obvious from fairly early on.
I will keep on with the series, but hope book six returns to the form of 1-4 rather than the pain that was book six.

Good reader
Much better reader than previous narrator. A British accent works so much better for British books

Good story ruined by narrator
The narration really ruined this book for me. At times the narrator’s accent went from fake plummy British to Australian to Northern Irish.
