About this listen
Dorian Lindstrom, codename Ghost, knows everyone breaks under torture.
His five weeks in an enemy prison taught him that with unmerciful precision. He's put his life back together as best he can with the help from his brothers at Linear Tactical.
But he's never gotten over his love for Grace Brandt, her part in his capture, or the fact that she died.
But sometimes the dead don't stay that way.
Grace knows her past can’t be forgiven. She's stayed hidden as long as she could, but now the secrets slowly suffocating her won’t stay buried any longer.
And the man she helped break, the man she’s always loved, is the only one who can stop this nightmare.
She'll need a Ghost to fight her demons, and he’s more than willing to prove she's worth the fight.
The Ghost will rise.

Great overall!
Really enjoyed this story. Perfect blend of action and sex. She saves him, he saves her; two strong characters stronger together.

Exciting and full of action
Dorian was already my favourite character of all the Linear guys (they are all great, but D. especially), a kind and loving soul but very damaged due all the trauma and torture he's endured. A very enthralling story to keep you on the edge of your seat holding on with all the twists and turns. The narrator has a very nice voice and pace keeping your attention gripped on all the action.

Fiercely romantic.
Dorian and Grace were both part of a deeply covert group that, unbeknownst to them, was not sanctioned by the government. This organisation manipulated the minds of their operatives making their sleeper agents. Dorian, with his severe PTSD, is part of the Linear Tactical team. And Grace died in Kabul when Dorian was on a mission there. Only she didn't die. 6 years later and she is back watching Dorian from a distance.
Gosh! This book is loaded with angst. There is the relationship between these two damaged souls but there is also a lot going on with the covert group that should be defunct. Only someone appears to be killing off everyone associated with the group. It is a race to find out what is going on and who the assassin is.
Janie Crouch definitely takes her audience on a literary roller coaster with this book. The story literally grabs the listener and refuses to let the person go until the very last moment. Fantastic!

Betrayed and Broken?
Dorian Lindstrom, code name 'Ghost' believes he is a broken man. After surviving five weeks of brutal torture in an enemy prison he learnt the truth. Everyone breaks eventually and some breaks you can't return from.
His brothers at Linear Tactical helped put him back together but with a piece missing. He can't forget the dead love of his life Grace Brandt. But the dead don't always stay dead.
Grace resurfaces needing his help to find an assassin before they are added to the growing number of dead former agents. She needs him to trust her but can't reveal the secret she is keeping, that she played a part in his capture. The truth can set you free but sometimes it can destroy you.
She needs her man to fight her demons and he will need to find the man he once was to survive and win the day.
The Ghost will need to rise again.
I loved this brilliant story featuring one of my favourite Linear Guys. Ghost is one complicated hot mess and his back story had me in tears. Action packed romantic suspense at it's best. Well done Janie.

Phenomenal
Ghost is a fabulous addition to the Linear Tactical Series. I absolutely loved it. After finding out the instalment was centred around Dorian, I couldn't wait to start listening. I found Dorian to be a very intriguing and compelling character, a true definition of a wounded warrior. He survived the war, brutal torture, and the tragic death of Grace, the love of his life. Left broken, he suffers from severe PTSD, while being hunted by private demons. Now, he has to come to terms with a reality that Grace is alive. Dorian and Grace's journey is a heart-wrenching one, it's emotional, touching, hopeful, and passionate; I was wholly captivated.
A stellar performance by Tom Campbell, he emulated the characters and their intense emotions flawlessly, bringing them to life. Overall, this was an incredible story, one I highly recommend. I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook, and my unbiased review is voluntarily given.

Traumatic, tender and fast paced
Dorian Lindstrom is a broken man since being captured and tortured while in service but what really broke him was seeing the woman he loved getting blown up. But now he thinks he’s imagining things when he senses that he can feel Grace nearby. His psychiatrist is trying to help by making him realise his mind can’t be trusted until he is injured by a quarrel, Grace’s weapon of choice and knows he has to find out if she’s out there. Traumatic, tender and fast paced, the linear tactical family come together to help their own fight their enemies from the past. I voluntarily listened and reviewed an advanced copy of this audiobook. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Holy WOW! Dorian and Grace/Ray are magic
Absolutely amazing. So many emotions and feelings that will stick with you. A bit darker than the other books in the series. Grace/ Ray- heartbreaking, Dorian - damaged, together magic. Action throughout the entire book. Be prepared to listen straight through. Will listen many times!
And Charlie (from Eagle) was just as amazing as ever....god I love her.
Listened at 1.6-1.75x speed to sound right. Narrator has great reading and male voice but his female voice is more of a whisper.

Wow!!! Incredible Listen
Ghost by Janie Crouch surprised me with being darker than her other stories in the series. Grace and Dorian have incredible chemistry. I love how this book was not expected storyline I anticipated, but better. Tom Campbell was amazing bringing the characters to life with his voice.
