About this listen
Leah Marks has no idea what is missing from her quiet, uneventful life until a simple change in her daily routine alters her existence. From the moment she meets antique dealer, Reagan Montgomery, Leah's world is turned upside down. A unique gift given to her by Reagan leads them on a journey that defies logic and the laws of time.
The Gift of Time is a story of love, devotion and a bond that has carried two women from one life to the next.
©2007 Intaglio Publications (P)2008 Dog Ear AudioUnfortunately one drawback to the audiobook is the narrator IMO. She's not bad but has quite a middle-aged sounding voice with a strong accent that definitely is not from the South of the US, where the story is set so her voice does not match the story or the characters. Also, when narrating dialogue she did not change her voice to match the character who was speaking, which made for confusion at times. This is a shame because a more appropriate sounding narrator could raise this audiobook to another level.
It might be better to read this book rather than listen to it.
