Summary
From USA Today best-selling author Rina Kent comes a new stand-alone enemies-to-lovers college romance.
I’m trapped by the devil. What started as an innocent mistake turned into actual hell.
In my defense, I didn’t mean to get involved with a mafia prince. But he barged through my defenses anyway. He stalked me from the shadows and stole me from the life I know.
Jeremy Volkov might appear charming, but a true predator lurks inside. He’s out to possess, own, and keep me.
But I have no plans to stick around in his blood-soaked world. Or so I think.
This book is a dark unconventional romance and contains themes that aren't to everyone's liking.

fantastic loved it.
5*
Landon has convinced Cecily to help get information about the Heathens, she's unsure why he wants this information.
Unfortunately everything doesn't go as planned and she finds herself attracting the wrong person.
Jeremy has her on his radar now and the digging begins but what he uncovers makes him more drawn to her.
I loved the narrators and read along with the book which was amazing I definitely recommend it.

Dark romance ❤️🔥❤️
If you like a dark mafia prince romance story then this book will hit the spot. The story will drag you into Jeremy's dark obsessed heart. She can run but she can't hide. The story is well written and flows at a nice pace. Enjoy delving into the darkness. The book is hot and steamy 🔥❤️🔥
The performance was ok, I love Teddy’s voice for narration not a huge fan of the female narrator. Overall 4 stars for performance.
I was gifted a complimentary copy of this book. My review is based on my own opinion.

Jeremy and Cecily !
God of Wrath by Rina Kent is by far my favorite of the series so far. It was dark, steamy, and dare I say a little romantic?
Rina did what Rina does best, and she gave us this dark, dark soul and introduced him to his little ball of sunshine, a ball of sunshine that had her own dark story to tell.
Jeremy is for sure the spawn of his father because AHHH he was possessive, broody, obsessive and he loved so hard.
Cecily has been the girl I’ve wanted more from since the start of the series. Its always your quiet side characters that hit you the hardest and Cecily was that perfect side friend that has her own amazing story.
These two really took it out of me. It was an emotional roller coaster that I never wanted to end.

Dark Enemies To Lovers Romance
God of Wrath by Rina Kent is a dark enemies to lovers romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Teddy Hamilton, Zara Hampton-Brown, Jason Clarke, and Shane East. This is the third book in the Legacy of Gods series and can be read as a standalone.
Rina is an amazing writer! She always pulls me into the story and makes me fall in love with the characters. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Jeremy and Cecily. Their relationship is messy, but I couldn't help but root for them.
I can't wait for the next book in the series God of Ruin to be released on August 10, 2023, so I can get Landon's story.
Teddy, Zara, Jason, and Shane did an amazing job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like dark romances, enemies to lovers romances, college romances, or mafia romances.

Enthralling, Powerful & Intense! Brilliant Story & Narration🎧
Kent pens another outstanding “Legacy of Gods” novel and it is an intense mind-blow of a story, one that is captivating from start to end, it comes with some content warnings but she failed to add how consuming the story is and how difficult it is to put the book down, you just need to know what happens next. This series is the next generation of characters from her earlier series, the two lead characters had parents attending the same school, Cecily Knight, daughter of Xander Knight and Kimberly Reed from “Black Knight”. Royal Elite, book 4 attends the Royal Elite University. Jeremy Volkov, son of Adrian Volkov and Lia Morelli of the “Deception” trilogy, attends King’s U’s College, along with his younger sister Annika, from “God of Pain”. As you can see, Kent knows how to weave a mighty fine web with all her characters intertwining them in one way or another, and her world building is absolutely phenomenal. The time line of this story runs simultaneously with the second book, there are brief mentions of events that occurred, but they are told from a different point of view. This book starts with Cecily getting herself in deep trouble after using an invitation not meant for her and at the mercy of the Heathens for their initiation trials. She was doing this for Landon, there is a rivalry between the schools and he wants info to help him get the upper hand. Cecily fails the initiation, but she survived the chase almost injury free, she also learned something else about herself, she loved the chase. She did not know who was behind the mask but he stirred up something in her and she will venture out for more joining an online club, hoping to get matched with Landon, but she gets someone else instead, someone just as dark even more intense. Jeremy does not open up to anyone, and he does not let anyone in, he is not sure what it is about Cecily, hr only know she is his to do as he pleases. Primal play can be different depending on the world, but in this book it is consent given for the players to take what they want without consent, safe words shared if it gets too much and one party wants the play to end, which may take some out of their comfort zone so keep that in mind if you have a problem with that. That said, the scenes are well written and well done. There is never a dull moment in this “enemies to lovers” romance, the story is cleverly plotted with plenty of drama, angst, heartfelt emotions, some thrilling moments, twists, and super steamy and intense scenes. Rina Kent, thank you for another brilliant story and the wild, emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the fantastic narration, Teddy Hamilton and Zara Hampton-Brown do an amazing job performing the roles of the two lead characters as well as all the secondary characters. Jason Clarke and Shane East are the guest stars making an appearance performing their roles as Adrian Volkov (Clarke) and Shane East as Xander Knight. These superbly talented narrators have a complete understanding of the characters they are portraying, give each a voice that is a perfect fit for their character’s persona and are believable in their perspective roles. They set the perfect tone for the story and capture all the character’s emotions and project them in to their performance. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their narration enhances an already brilliant story to another level. Thank you for another fabulous listen.
