Brave hero or criminal mastermind?

Tonight we find out.

Undercover cop Chris Sketty became a hero when he almost died trying to stop the most brutal terror attack in UK history. With the suspects either dead or missing, the real motive remains a mystery.

But someone is convinced Sketty is a liar. A criminal mastermind. A murderer.

Blackmailed into revealing the truth, Sketty will share a twisting tale of betrayal, deception and murder...with a revelation so shocking that nothing will be the same again.

Absolutely loved this book. It twists and turns all the way and keeps you guessing. Sketty is a really strong, well-developed character who draws you into the story from the outset. Superb narration.

I have been missing Tina Boyd in Simon’s more recent books. This book does a great job of introducing some new characters and potential for on going plot. Really enjoyed listening to it.

I have read and listened to all of Simon Kernick’s books. I loved that this one is story of a story!!! Paul Thornley once again excels at the narration in Good Cop Bad Cop. It was also nice to have the harsh Glaswegian tones intermittently in the shape of character Teller.
A must for fans of crime thrillers. Bravo Mr Kernick.

I’ve had this book for a while but for some reason haven’t got round to listening to it. Wow what a mistake! because once I’d started I just couldn’t leave it alone. Fabulous story with excellent narration. I thoroughly enjoyed this title.

Definitely worth the listen

It was well paced fast moving heavy drawing at times but constantly gripping you didn’t know what was going to happen next as much as the character what let it down sometimes was the narration especially when the voice is changed when the voices changed to a different narrator that was the only thing that let it down otherwise I’d recommend it to anyone who really wants a gripping read

Convoluted but gripping
