Summary
"I touch his arm gently. It's not meant to be anything more than a gesture of sympathy, but like every time we touch, there's a tug. A gravity so strong I know it could destroy us both if we gave into it."
Sophie has the whole girl-next-door look about her, mixed with a double dose of trouble. And while there's no denying she's hot, the last thing I should be thinking about is how smooth her sun-kissed skin would feel pressed against my body.
I learned a long time ago the dangers of thinking with my cock. And yet, for some reason, it's a current painful reminder that I haven't had any action in a very long time. But I'm in no position for a relationship, at least not until my daughter is grown. She's already had enough uncertainty in her life. And yet, I'm fighting an attraction so strong, it's like fighting the laws of gravity.
I can't fall for a stranger with as dark a past as my own. I have to protect my heart, and that of my little girl. Because history has a habit of repeating itself. And I won't be burned again. We're just two broken souls fighting the forces of nature and the inevitable fall. Will gravity win, or will we be torn apart?
Gravity is the second stand-alone novel in the brand-new Savages and Saints series and a spin-off of the Wild Irish series from Amazon best-selling author C.M. Seabrook.

Gravity is an undefeatable force
Sophie and Kade, they both had their fair share of disappointment and tragedy in their life. I shed some tears for Sophie, the great loss she suffered. Her past just broke my heart. I really liked Kade's love of his family. He was just a perfect father, his heart full for his little girl. Both characters were so loveable.
I absolutely loved this book. C. M. Seabrook has such an astonishing ability to tell a story. Great characters paired with a superb plot.
Both Jenna St. Claire and Gunnar Qualen did a great job with this narration. I enjoyed every moment. Their performance complemented this great story.

Broken souls mended together!
Every time I listen to a C.M. Seabrook story, I think it's my favorite, but this one definitely has made it to the top. The story of Sophie and Kade ripped me apart and warmed my heart! Kade Savage is a single dad who only has eyes for his daughter. When fate steps in, in the form of a beautiful woman, Kade has a one night stand that he cannot forget. Sophie is having a tough time, and when her car breaks down and she finds herself in Kade's bar. Quickly taken in by the big-hearted Quinn, Sophie finds herself entrenched in the Savage family, working for Kade and living in his extra apartment. But what will happen when these two get together? Seabrook has a way of writing, pulling you into a story and making you part of it. It's like I am there for Sophie as she muddles through her life and reveals her secrets. I could feel the pain and frustration that Kade has as he is working through his issues and I find myself falling in love right along with them..They are both so broken, but together they heal each other. Add in a little suspense too, with Charlie coming to town, giving the story some grit and thrills. I also love the overlap of characters. We get to see Quinn and Zee as well as the mention of Wild Irish, giving that hometown community feel to the story.
Gunnar Qualen and Jenna St Claire dually narrate this story beautifully. Their performance gives all the emotional push and pull as Sophie and Kade come together. It's a wonderful narration.

Outstanding!!
Gravity, the second book in the Saints series, is absolutely outstanding. It's brilliantly written with an incredible plot and character development. The compelling storyline captivated me from start to end, loaded with action, steam, twists, and turns. The suspense scenes are exciting and well-timed, keeping you on edge. As for the characters, they are three dimensional, genuine with actual depth to their personalities. Sophie, Kade, and Lola stole my heart with their vulnerabilities, inner strength, and hopeful hearts. Sophie and Kade have an intense connection with a charged chemistry.
Excellent dual narration by Gunnar Qualen and Jenna St. Claire. Both narrators captured the essence of the characters and the animations found in the pages, bringing the story to life. This is an utterly enjoyable audiobook, one I give my highest recommendations.

Love this family!
Loved this book. This is book #2 in the series but it can be read as a standalone. No cliffhangers here. I love this whole family and especially Lola, Cade’s daughter, she cracks me up. The narration is great, their voices totally match the characters in my head. I always enjoy male/female narration the best!

Another great savage addition.
Kade has been hurt before his ex did a number on him, so trusting is hard he's so protective of his daughter Lola. Sophia meets Kade when he's unexpectedly passing through at last hoping to rest his demons. The sparks fly. She's done with men after her ex Charlie.

Well done with action and romance
I enjoyed this book, which was the second book in the series but featured a standalone romance between Sophie and Kade. What Sophie had to go through was heartbreaking, as was what poor Kade had to go through when his ex-wife overdosed. Both of the characters had to overcome some really big barriers and together, they showed strength. I loved learning more about the other characters in the Savages and Saints world and this book, as with the prior book in the series, really whets the reader (or in my case, listener's appetite for this series).
Speaking of listening, I listened to the audiobook and both Gunnar Qualen and Jenna St. Claire did great jobs playing the multiple characters. I loved the duet type of reading and together, they really brought the story to life.

Great emotion
This book has a lot of emotional times in it that have been written so very well. It’s a challenge for an author to show the strength of a person moving on with their life after such a tragedy. This book is perfectly balanced. Excellent performance.
