Summary
Dear Travelers: In Part 3 of Great-Grandma Mittie's Letters, Mittie takes her three great-grandchildren and the listeners to explore the family of our sun, also called the solar family or the solar system. These imaginary adventures begin by visiting our sun, the center of the solar family that attracts all of its children, the eight planets that stay together. After that, Mittie invites everybody to discuss many cool things about one of the sun's children, the third planet from the sun, our planet Earth. Mittie's games and surprises continue even back on the moon, the only natural satellite of the Earth that is officially recognized.
