What a brilliant listen.
Jack comes across an amazing crafted box with a beautiful gold shiny key while visiting a brik a brak store with his wife Meg.
Is the story behind the box a fairytale or not,.....
fantastic narration from Grant Love who brings this story to life.
Grant flawlessly changes his voice for each character , what a gift.
The use of sound effects give an extra boost to your imagination.
This book is definitely worth a listen, it will pull you in from the very start.

This is another chilling short story from Molly Garcia, it is fast paced and interesting throughout. Greed is a terrible thing and this story proves the saying, "Be careful what you wish for". Wealth isn't a priority when it costs you the life you know and the loved ones you treasure. Grant Love's narration is once again spot on with chilling music and sound FX, some of which are quite amusing! LOL! Sorry Grant, I don't think that's was quite how they were meant. ☺ Highly Recommended.

loved how this rolled out, amazing.
I enjoyed the story as it developed but was also told of previous owners stories.

In another review, there was a “warning” about a trigger involving a small dog. It concerns me that, that was flagged up, but not the incident with the small children.

I was given a free copy of this title, but because I do not read psychological thrillers, this took me a while to get through (despite being a short story). It is a very interesting concept and the atmospheric production does add to the tale.

It reminded me of the film “Fallen” with Denzel Washington. If you know the film and enjoyed the premise, then this is for you.

This was my first exposure to this author writing as more of horror/ dark listen and at first I had my doubts but it really worked. The story itself is familiar and a very old fashioned fairytale (before they become Disney) and it worked. Yes there was times when I wish I wasn't listening on my alexa so that everyone could hear, but luckily no one could.

The narration worked well including the sound effects.
