About this listen
Escape to the Gulf Coast of Florida with Georgia Carpenter as she gets a second chance at life, love, and happiness.
The Christmas party at the Sea Glass Inn is a long-held tradition, one the townspeople of Blackbird Beach consider the kick-off of the Christmas season. Until, of course, the inn closed, and the party stopped happening.
Now Georgia Carpenter has decided it’s time to restart that tradition, even though the party is a massive undertaking and one that will influence how people feel about the inn for the rest of the year. With the help of her sister, Lilly, Georgia hopes to put on an event that will be merry and bright and spark new interest in the business.
She also wants to dedicate the event to her late, great Aunt Norma. She’s the woman responsible for the inn’s existence and for the change of fortune in Georgia’s life, after all. It’s only fitting that such an amazing woman get an amazing tribute.
But pulling off such a party might require a Christmas miracle. Will the night go off without a hitch? ‘Tis the season to find out....

A lovely heart warming series
I love listening to and getting to know all the characters in these whole series of books. Pure escapism from the real world.

Gulf Coast Series
I thoroughly enjoyed the whole series of the six books and became involved in the story, enjoying the characters and their place in the community.
It was lovely to find out how the Inn was redecorated and renovated until it reached its former glory after being closed for many years.

A Christmas story
This is the only book of the series I’ve listened to. It does work as a stand alone story, but it does feel like you’re missing something.
Happy ever afters, that you expect in a Christmas story.

Happy ever after
I was wondering if we even needed the final book and could have wrapped it in the previous one, but after listening through this. I am happy they made a final one. This is just a nice way to happily end everything and close the story. Definitely great work, cheesy at times, but it's a feel good story so the cheesiness is part of it. Would highly recommend this to anyone up for a feel good/pick me up story.

Happy, feel-good stories
It was very nice listening to these up-lifting, life affirming stories. They may not be exactly 'realistic' but that's actually what was nicest about them.
The only criticism I would have is if the actor who narrated Travis. His voice was just too intense for the words he was reading.
All in all a lovely listen though.

Totally delightful
The author uses words to paint a wonderful picture, also beautifully narrated.
What a pleasure to listen to a story that makes you feel as if you are actually there,
It was especially nice that there were no swear words or blaspheming, also no steamy love scene descriptions,
Thanks very much to all involved.
