Comprehensive and Informative

This is an excellent audiobook on gut health, as I have gained a lot of valuable information from my listening. I got this book for my partner, as she has been suffering from gut issues for quite some time. From following the advice of the book, we are not disappointed, as she has reported significant improvement.

I particularly enjoyed the section on the connection between our gut and brain and how they are interlinked. I was amazed to find out how impactful our gut health is to optimal brain function, and it makes sense why we suffer from brain fog and poor focus when we don't take care of it. The author does a great job of guiding you in the right direction regarding following the correct diet and exercise regimes for improving your gut health. I liked the idea of trying the elimination diet, and we have both been doing this and have identified many foods that are triggering gut inflammation. From eliminating these foods and increasing our exercise output, we have noticed a significant difference in our overall health, including weight loss and better mood.

I highly recommend this book to anyone suffering from gut problems.

Amazing information

In listening to this book, I never realized how much of my health was tied directly to how well my gut was doing. I've always had some weird stomach issues but nothing debilitating so I just didn't worry about them. What I didn't realize is the other symptoms I had were probably related to gut issues like being so tired, low energy, and constant weight issues. The author takes a very compassionate approach to trying to educate the listener as to why gut health is so important and should not be ignored.

I really like chapter 7 which discusses gut healing supplements and the reason why priobiotics are so important. Learning how the supplements work and their critical role in optimizing health was great to understand so that I can make more informed decisions when I am deciding how I am going to start to get my gut health in control.

I was also surprised to learn that if I could start making changes to my health and my gut, it would even help me decrease my mood swings and even skin issues. The author gives practical tips on what foods to eat and avoid gut problems. The book has a great balance of not just focusing on medications to cover up your symptoms or drastically change your diet so you can lose weight. Instead, the author is teaching us there are many choices we can make that will improve our gut health which in turn will improve our moods, our weight, our skin, and so much more.

Excellent Resource

This is a fantastic audiobook, and the author and narrator do an incredible job of explaining the importance of the close relationship between our gut health with our overall health and sense of well-being. Yes, it definitely affects our weight, but it does so, so, so much more. This audiobook dives deep into this and explores the complexities of it and gives you 5 ways in which you can take charge and get your health and balance back within your body. I learned a lot and there is a lot of valuable information within this audiobook

Fascinating brain-gut connection

Once I heard about the impact the gut can have on overall health, I was hooked. I've been trying to learn as much as I can about it ever since. One thing that I found especially interesting in this book was how it talked about the brain-gut connection. It's fascinating to me how much they are connected. And I liked the tips in this book for how to take action on the things it teaches. They seem very doable.

Excellent Information

As someone who has been struggling with gut health most of my life, this book has the best information all in one place that I could find. Even the many doctors that I've seen have failed to identify the hormonal component that affects the gut, especially as we age. The book offers solutions based on scientific studies and shares her story which makes this book inspirational. If you're looking for some answers for your gut issues then I recommend you start here and get this book. Highly recommended.

Well-researched book with practical solutions

"Gut Health for Women" offers an in-depth look into gut health. It addresses issues such as: inflammation, weight loss, hormonal imbalances and much more. The book is well researched and also provides the practical tips to understand how your body depends on the healthy guts. Important points of the book are proper diet, rest, supplements.
The author's approach is personal, friendly, and encouraging and that helped me feel I was not the only one in the woods on the subject. A lot of us are, and we need ideas and solutions, exactly what I found in the "Gut health for women".
Narration is beautiful and pleasant to listen.
