A good, basic overview, covers all the main topics and assumes no or little prior knowledge. Those with business experience can skip through some of the more rudimentary parts about needing to be able to undertake financial analysis and use MD Excel etc. Would benefit from an update to reflect the most recent legislative changes. That said, there is little to update.

As 'soon to be' professional property investors, we are reading/listening to everything we can get our hands on, so that we can sit down and create a solid plan. 'HMO Property Success' has been a great listen to add to this. The book covers various items that are often covered in many of the 'how to' books on property investing in general, however it also has plenty of nuggets of information that we've scribbled down. For the 'HMO' side of things, the book is full of useful information for newbies (and I'll bet a couple of things for seasoned investors looking to branch into HMO). Ultimately, following the tips given throughout will help us to avoid some potentially very expensive mistakes in the future! In summary, I'm happy with this purchase!

Great book. Comprehensive guide to starting an HMO business based on purchasing rather than renting your property. Not sure how useful it'd be to you if you'd already started but even if you're experienced i find there are usually one or two things in a book like this that I benefit from either learning or being reminded of.
