About this listen
Stephanie Costas has always had a passion for humanity. As a digital forensics examiner, she fights bad guys from the technical front. When a closed cold case is dug up, she finds herself becoming consumed to set things right. No amount of '80s music or repeated viewings of her favorite movie Dirty Dancing were enough to distract her. She needed a vacation in the worst of ways.
When she set foot in the gorgeous tropical resort in Greece, she had no idea she'd meet a man claiming to be Hades, god of the Underworld. And she certainly had no idea that he was telling the truth. Her Greek vacation was about to become very...interactive.
A Hades/Persephone reimagining.
The Contemporary Mythos series will feature a different Greek god in each book, reexploring their myths and combining contemporary romance tropes. Though they will all stand alone, the stories will also intersect for those that listen to them all.

This is a super fun and romantic modern take on a contemporary woman meeting Hades, the Greek God!😍
She's an obsessive workaholic. Her friend books them a holiday to Corfu. While there, she meets a grumpy, black clothed, sad looking gorgeous man called Hades. They talk on and off, but she refuses to give up on helping him.
He agrees to be her dance partner on Valentines Day to Dirty Dancing, that dance!😉 Their attraction is undeniable, but the underworld is a problem that can't be overcome for mortals. They're heading for a goodbye.😢
This is such a fun and romantic escapist read. I thought the narrator did a good job, but i did feel it would have benefitted from a male narrator as well. I recommend this one if you need some light in your life.😍

Hades, the Greek God, gets a second chance. Stephanie and her best friend go on a trip to Greece where she meets Hades. He is broody and depressed and she something different about him. She does not realize he is the real Hades either. Suspense, a matchmaking God, some drama, a touch of crazy, passion and romance. This was a nice retelling of a classic myth.

Story takes place on a Greek Island and Chicago . Stephanie meets Hades at a bar at the Hotel on the Island. Hades intrigue Stephanie, and things take off from there. .
There are some scenes that will make you laugh so hard . The story is well written and leaves you wanting more! Narration was very well done, the story line flows smoothly and I love that . Stephanie decides on something that proves to Hades she truly loves him.
I highly recommend this story. Can’t wait for book 2
Stella Bloom was fantastic, she brought you into the story . You actually knew who the characters were by her tone

Stephanie goes on holiday to Greece with her friend Sarah, where she meets Hades. Only she does realise that it's the real Hades.
I really enjoyed the way they got to know each other, and that it wasn't all instant love. Stephanie was loveable, she was a geek at heart, who was a little bit clumsy and a big nervous talker.
I really liked her 'normal' responses to finding out he's the real Hades and that the other gods actually exist, it was a nice change.
The plot is easy to follow, nothing too complicated. The ending is HEA and the epilogue ties everything up nicely.
The narrator, Stella Bloom, does a really great job with the characters and the different accents.
Really enjoyable story
