Summary
The emotional finale to the bestselling Cornish Midwife series! Get your tissues ready!**
Midwife Jess is so used to helping other mums achieve their dreams that she’s put her own hopes of motherhood firmly on hold.
After having her heart broken once before, Jess is determined to focus all she has on her small family and stepson Riley and make sure he feels safe, happy and loved.
But when Jess is asked to care for a tiny baby and new mum in need of support, she’s torn. Jess wants to help, but she isn’t sure her battered heart could cope with saying goodbye to another baby she’s fallen in love with.
Jess knows this could be the happy ever after she’s always dreamed of, but what if it costs her more heartache along the way? Is she brave enough to take one last chance at motherhood?
A heartwarming, uplifting read from top 10 bestselling suthor Jo Bartlett, perfect for fans of Christie Barlow, Jessica Redland and Holly Martin.
'Stunning setting, wonderful characters, and oozing with warmth. A triumph from Jo Bartlett' Jessica Redland
'Perfectly written and set in the beating heart of a community, this story is a wonderful slice of Cornish escapism' Helen J Rolfe

Fabulous series and narrator
Have loved every book in this series-and the fact that the same narrator used throughout is something that Boldwood should aim to replicate

Perfect ending to the perfect series
I have loved listening to the whole Cornish Midwife series and this book is the perfect way to end it. It has made me laugh cry sign and hold my breath. Didn’t want it to end but so pleased that the ending was as brilliant as it could be. Thank you.

Families and Friendships.
I have loved all of the books in the series and it is good to have come to such a lovely conclusion, for all the characters, after many troubles.

Happy ever after
Well Jo Bartlett certainly knows how to write heart wrenching plots. There are several in this book and of course everything is sorted towards the end so that the book can live up to its title.
Nice narration.

Not my favourite!!
I have loved all the previous ones and, although I haven't finished this yet, and am hoping for lots of happy endings, particularly for Ella and Jess, I have enjoyed this much less, because there was not as much of the favourite, long-standing characters, but more because I hated the Tilly character.
