Enjoyable
Really enjoyed the depth of this story. I’m sorry but I was in love with both of the men in the story and I feel like it could’ve gone either way and I would be happy. It would be so nice to hear a story about life after for the man she didn’t choose. He deserves a happy ending

Heartbreaking
This story really does twist you up it’s heartbreaking to read , if your looking for something angsty this will deliver! Narrators did a great job performed in a dual style

Not a classic flirt-date-marry-end-of-story
Full of agony, fear, love, conflicting emotions, deep sadness and unexpected twists. Love is not black and white, straight road, and that book is a perfect example of that!

Brilliant
Love this story from start to finish really felt for both men especially Gavin the story could have gone either way with these men and I would have been happy. wasn't very keen on the female narror took me a while to get use to her voice but that didn't stop me from enjoying the book it was a great plot Aaron is always a great narror well done to to the author you wrote a supurb book with a lot of research into the army

performances were amazing!
i went into this completely blind but it pleasantly surprised me! the plot had me interested and entertained throughout even if i saw it all coming but the angst felt so real🥹 i really enjoyed it.
tropes: love triangle, angst, shared trauma, army setting.

Thought-provoking and heartbreaking
I really enjoyed this story and found it really heartbreaking in places. it was great to hear a different story from the norm and certainly gave me food for thought regarding soldiers/veterans etc. Would recommended but only if you want something deep, it's certainly not lighthearted.
