About this listen
It was supposed to be an easy article about Cain Archer.
Never did I think it would lead me straight into the arms of a serial killer.
When the magazine I worked for sent me to write a piece on The Elysian, and the recluse architect who created it, I didn’t know what to expect.
It certainly wasn’t him.
He was supposed to be cold and cruel, but to me, he was Intoxicating. Magnetic. And impossible to quit. The deeper I fell, the harder it became to ignore a voice inside my head telling me that death followed Cain.
I wanted to be wrong. Maybe it was all in my head. But I needed to find the answers.
I became entangled in a dangerous web when the police found the brutally murdered body of a woman he knew. I couldn’t help but follow the leads, no matter where they took me.
Nothing prepared me for what I found….
What if the person you took into your bed isn’t at all what he seemed? What if he’s the monster you’ve been searching for?

Wow!!
This book you’ll need to block a day off to listen to, as once you start you won’t be able to stop!
Great story that kept me gripped, I only wish there was a bit more of the murder mystery included as it felt a little rushed towards the end. The epilogue ending was *chef’s kiss*.
Narration by Sebastian York and Ava Erickson was fantastic as usual.
Definitely worth a credit.

Fabulous
From the first to the last paragraph, the narrative, the plot, I loved it.
Always with a slight suspicion, a hint of intrigue... even the last statement leaves us in doubt!

A Long time to get started
Thge story didn’t really get going until about chapter 27 after that it was a good story with plenty of twists. It’s a shame the first 26 chapters were so boring. I didn’t like the female narrator (she was a bit whiny). Sebastian York as always didn’t disappoint.

Nothing Really Happens
Not a fan of this book the plot was weak and very predictable. Nothing really happens and the ending was anticlimactic. I don’t even know why I finished it I did speed it up though.
