Good and very informative
very educational and informative my only criticism is that the American narrator doesn't pronounce thing properly such as the names of the counties which I know might sound a bit petty but after a while it just gets a little annoying to me

Some things are wrong.
Aside from the narration being a bit monotonous, there are some things wrong. For example Roman emperor Claudius was not emperor Caligula's brother, but rather his uncle.

Simplistic taster
To British ears some of the pronunciations are cringe worthy to say the least.
it is only a 3hr book so do not expect much.
Some of what is said contradicts many other deeper works on many sub-topics spoken about.
History buffs will probably not get past the first chapter or so.
However, for younger people and those wanting a brief taster of the topics, passable.
I have given 4 as i hope it encourages people to take up reading history with greater depth and discussion.

Voice is awful
awful voice cracked my eardrums not recommendable. Not worth the money if you ask me.
