At the bachelorette party, a raunchy game results in a quest to find me a one-night stand. When a hunk with dark blue eyes and perfect bone structure hits me with a silly line at the bar, my mission is complete. I vow to move on from our steamy night as I head to the rehearsal dinner, certain one of my brother's hot pro football player groomsmen will be my Prince Charming.

Then the best man turns around. Dark blue eyes. Perfect bone structure. A body I won't soon forget. And apparently my new roommate.

This is not a full story. I am so disappointed. Why saying that it’s a stand alone when it is not.

So upset with the way the book end

She looses her job and boyfriend at the same time. So, it's easy for her to move next door to her brother in an entire different state.
They meet under interesting circumstances and have to deal with what follows their first meet. She tried to help his career. There is plenty of drama and some steam (even though it starts with a bang, it shows down for quite a while).
IT END ON A CLIFFHANGER 😭😭😭 can you believe it? 🤦🏾‍♀️

I started listening expecting another frothy formulaic romance, light enough so that it would help me drop off to sleep. I was disappointed by the poor writing - limited vocabulary littered with clichés, and by the extremely weak plot. so bored i only made it to the end of the book through insomnia and will definitely not be getting the next.

Really disappointed that this story has been chopped up to spread over several books.z😡

I really hate authors that milk it like that. It does not encourage me to read more of their work. I get this is how they make their living, but so many excellent authors have the decency to write a full story, then possibly do a bonus book or two, without cutting back the original book, thus giving the reader a choice.

However, if you exclude the division, the story was good and I was really enjoying it until…..it just ended😐 queue next purchase to get a bit further through story. It was good, but not that good!
Now, on principle, I will leave it there and go find a complete story to listen to.
