An extended look into the future
I was not aware of all the implications of the incorporation of AI in the age we live in. This audiobook covers all aspects of it from the philosophical/ethical to the more unsuspected applications and where we are going as humanity in relation to AI. This book blew my mind. It is quite a long book, but it is worth listening to it calmly and more than once. I'm sure it will completely change your view or idea about AI. It is a very complete work that I highly recommend.

Will Stauff's narration enhances this exploration, making complex concepts like brain-computer interfaces and enhanced cognitive abilities feel more relatable. The discussion around how this merger could redefine what it means to be human is both intriguing and a bit unsettling, provoking thought about the ethical implications and potential benefits of such a transformation.
While the book does an excellent job of discussing this transformative potential, some segments can feel a bit drawn out, which might cause listeners to lose focus on the core message. But I have to say I loved this audio book

Great resource

Educational and Thought-Provoking
This book is a great way to learn about the history of AI and how it’s evolved to where we are today. It does a solid job of explaining the basics—like machine learning and robots—while also diving into more advanced topics like quantum AI and super intelligence. It’s definitely educational and helps you get a clearer idea of what AI could mean for the future. Some parts are purely speculative, but it’s interesting to think about the possibilities and kinda mind blowing.

Fills in the Gaps
I've read a few books on AI recently and use it for both business and personal use. My actual knowledge of AI is fairly scattered, though. This extremely comprehensive guide filled in the gaps I was missing and covers everything from the history of AI to its future and even sections on its connection to science fiction and myths from the past. Obviously, if these areas don't interest you, they are easy to skip, but I found them fascinating.
I've been disappointed by many of the AI books I've read, but this one offers genuine value. The author obviously has a deep macro understanding of the subject. Highly recommended.

A very thourough study on AI.
I love AI so far, and I am using it regularly. But I have always wondered where it will end. Which direction are we going with it?
I just suffered from a leg injury where I was bedbound, so I thought that now I have time to listen to this lengthy audiobook.
This book made me realize that AI is not just starting out yet; the concept started thousands of years ago. The author did his homework on this topic, and it went to places I hadn't even thought about. For example, how did they use AI in wars? It is very eye-opening and thoroughly explains everything to you. These are things that the average person has no idea about. I can highly recommend it. After reading this book, you will learn a lot and look at AI from a different perspective. Very well worth it.
