All doctors should study this

As others have said, it took me an hour to get used to Dr Greger’s unique voice. But I am from the UK. His enthusiasm is genuine and I really got into the listen, all 27 hours of it.

The information in this book is stunningly helpful. It is quite scientific, so those without a scientific mind may struggle a little. However, he links everything to his website with easy to digest videos.

I am a GP, and none of this type of science is taught to doctors in training. But nutrition and emotional learning is key to overall health and disease prevention. This book has provided me with a huge amount of vital information I have already started passing on to my patients.

annoying!

the narrator has a really irritating voice and manners. all he is doing is pushing a plant based diet endlessly without using all the research evidence. he seems to pick and choose what matches his aim

Outstanding Effort

I always listen to Dr Gregers books with a smile on my face. Not only is he naturally entertaining, particularly useful when reading such potentially dry content, his book is jam packed full of eye opening data. I now hope to live a good 10 years longer.

Eye opening

I don’t recommend this book enough. The narration can be a little jarring in the first 15 minutes but bear with it I love the fact that all of the evidence is peer reviewed and referenced truly a book that has changed my perspective on my own diet and as he says we have control over what we choose to eat.

Incredible book which has changed the way I think about food

This book is packed full of detailed information and data which sometimes can be hard going to listen to, however hearing the key messages consistently coming through backed up by research it has genuinely changed my approach to what I'm eating. I certainly haven't changed from being a meat eater to a plant based diet overnight with no sugary treats, however I've started making small simple changes like introducing a lot more spices and herbs, just eating more veg and fruit and really cutty down on processed food. Of course I've always known they are good for you but that still didn't convince me to change but now I really understand the incredible difference they can make on my health. Amazing book that I'm telling everyone about.
