Northern Exposure. Even in Grundy, Alaska, it’s unusual to find a naked guy with a bear trap clamped to his ankle on your porch. But when said guy turns into a wolf, recent southern transplant Mo Wenstein has no difficulty identifying the problem. Her surly neighbour Cooper Graham, who has been openly critical of Mo's ability to adapt to life in Alaska, has trouble of his own. Werewolf trouble.

For Cooper, an Alpha in self-imposed exile from his dysfunctional pack, its love at first sniff when it comes to Mo. But Cooper has an even more pressing concern on his mind. Several people around Grundy have been the victims of wolf attacks, and since Cooper has no memory of what he gets up to while in werewolf form, he’s worried that he might be the violent canine in question. If a wolf cries wolf, it makes sense to listen, yet Mo is convinced that Cooper is not the culprit. Except if he’s not responsible, then who is? And when a werewolf falls head over haunches in love with you, what are you supposed to do anyway? The rules of dating just got a whole lot more complicated….

I absolutely loved it. The one liners made me laugh out loud and when that happens I know I have enjoyed the book. The sequel is a must and is so funny.

I loved this story. I had no trouble finishing this book in a short period of time. The characters lovable and relatable, the voice actress perfect and the storyline thrilling but also with a hint of normality. I just could not stop listening.

What a great book for a lazy day. Great characters, great plot, funny and witty. Wonderful narration. One cannot wish for more. Definitely a book I shall return to. Highly recommended.

I was not expecting to like this any where near as much as I did. Mo is amazing, hilarious, with great backbone. When we all want to punch a werewolf in the face, Mo actually goes and does it. Cooper the MMC was fine, but Mo and her sense of humour is what kept me listening and laughing.

I read the other reviews comparing this to twilight and was a little apprehensive, but this was a million times better and almost reads like a parody of the twilight books without the vampires.

10/10 light-hearted hilarity.

Funny, sad and highly entertaining. Molly Harper is a good author, definitely on my read more list, and Amanda Ronconi a talented narrator. If you are into this type of fiction give M H a try.
