Summary
Enter an addictive world of sizzlingly hot paranormal romance . . .
.........................
He's calling to the demon inside her . . .
Larkin is tired of her friends constantly trying to play Cupid. Just because they are all happily mated doesn't mean she needs to be. And she definitely doesn't need the over-protective men in her life vetting potential partners for her. In a bid to get them off her back, the harpy turns to the one person she knows they would never approve of . . .
Teague Sullivan. Explicitly sexy and unquestionably alpha male, the mysterious hellhorse is the perfect candidate for a fake relationship. More than happy to spend time with the pretty harpy, Teague agrees. But when a wager is made between them, and things start to heat up, Larkin can't seem to ignore their explosive chemistry - and neither can her demon.
But when old and new dangers creep up on them, and Teague's shady past starts to ring alarm bells; he must decide whether to trust Larkin completely or risk losing her forever.

Not my favorite in the series
I love Suzanne Wrights books. I've read most of her work, especially the paranormal series. This one wasn't my favorite out of all of them, I hated the continuous "cliffhanger"/secret that was hinted at, and not revealed until quite late in the book. Also I just didn't like the characters, but that's just personal preference, some people most likely relate to them more than me. The narration was superb as always!

Hunted
Another terrifically funny adventure romance, with enemies coming from all sides and love still able to blossom. Lots of action and a thrilling story line. Read brilliantly again by Cat Doucette who brings the whole adventure alive.

"I want this"
I have to say that I love Larkins demon. She is so frankly nuts and so unapologetic about it.
another hit in my mind and to see all the guys scared of Devin's child made me laugh out loud more than once.

Fantastic continuity throughout the series
Suzanne Wright is one of the few authors I preorder the minute she announces a new book. Her books especially the paranormal ones are rollocking adventures set in crazy worlds filled with all manner of hell beasts, angels and demons, witches and imp. With uber alpha heroes and the strong-willed feisty heroines who run rings around their men much to the bewilderment of said men. Of fabulous family dynamics. The humour is the laugh out loud variety – I strongly recommend not reading on public transport unless you don’t mind attracting the stares of fellow commuters and not forgetting the wicked banter and steamy scenes galore.
This is the eighth book in the Dark in You series and focuses on Larkin, the last of Knox’s sentinels and the only female. As the only singleton left the group she’s tired off being set up with random men so, in an attempt to get everyone off her back, she decides to fake a relationship which makes sense until she picks the insane hellhorse Teague Sullivan as her partner in crime which is when the fun really begins. In a fabulous tale involving hell borne assailants, spurned anchors who won’t take no for an answer and opposition from Larkin’s fellow sentinels/pseudo brothers who don’t think Teague’s good enough, Hunted was a nonstop rollercoaster of a read where the highlight of the story for me was Larkin’s demon and I couldn’t help but picture Miranda Richardson’s version of Queenie from Blackadder whenever it made an appearance. This entity struck fear into everyone it came into contact with aside from Teague who appreciated it’s psychopathy but then again I did say he was crazy,
Another fantastic narration from Cat Doucette. She has been amazing throughout this series as she not only manages to create distinctive voices for multiple characters she manages to remember them for each book making for great continuity throughout. I especially loved her performance of Larkin’s psychotic demon

Funny, hot and very entertaining
I love this series. it always makes me laugh. it's also nice and spicy without taking over the whole book.
The narrator is the same as for the rest of the series and does a good job, on the whole. sometimes the 'voices' get a little jumbled but that doesn't last for long.

At last!
I was fascinated by Teague’s character when he was first introduced, early on in the series, but now we finally get to know his clan and all his secrets. There have been a few tidbits dropped about Larkin’s background over the past 8 books, but who knew her demon was going to be so hilarious?! The plot development and world building are outstanding, with humour, suspense, action and plenty of plot twists to keep you on the edge of your seat. I had been looking forward to this book ever since the author divulged that these two would get together and oh my goodness, it was so much better than I had hoped for! The banter and chemistry kind of reminded me of Knox and Harper, though Teague is way more laid back than Knox. I loved getting a glimpse into the lives of previous couples and the bit where Asher gets a cameo appearance with Lou is just brilliant. The narrator does a fantastic job of giving all the different characters a distinctive voice and bringing the story to life. I know I’ll be listening to this book many times over!

Funny and Expected
I enjoyed the story but got annoyed with it. I have a secret but can't tell you his now redundant. especially when the reply is always the. "I do trust you, BUT" make no sense to me. either you do or you don't. other than that, it was a great addition to the series better than the last. keep up the work.
