Summary
What turns someone into a monster? Are they born that way, or is it a choice? I suppose it can be either or both
Morgan Albright dreams of owning her own bar one day but she's bartending for now - working hard, saving money. Life is hectic but she loves sharing a house with her best friend, Nina, and she is even finding time to date for the first time in what feels like forever.
When a seemingly random attack turns Morgan's life upside down, she must leave the city to return to her family home. Good storyline
Love this narrator and the story line is good even though the skeleton of the story is very formulaic. Still enjoyable though.

A gripping read
I always love Nora Roberts books. She has a great way of mixing romance with suspense and the narrator was brilliant. I always love books read by January LaVoy - she’s the best narrator at men’s voices!

Excellent
So good, first time listening to a Nora Roberud book. Will definitely hear more. Couldn't stop listening. Love January La Voy as a narrative. So highly recommended this book. Thank you.

Remarkable!
Nora Roberts is a genius and though she has a formula to the plot of her stories, she always writes vivid, entertaining chapters to form them. It’s always a treat knowing the main characters, the slow burn between them and the suspense that surrounds the whole story.
This is the first audio book narrated by January LaVoy that i had the pleasure of hearing. And the first thing that struck me (and my husband who was listening along to some parts of the audiobook with me) was how good and effortless she switches voices between characters and between men and women voices. I am looking forward to more audiobooks by her!

Brilliantly read, gripping story
The characters in this book are so well done and the plot line is really clever! I looked forward to me daily commute so I could listen to this book. Kept me on edge the whole way through!
